Dr. Vik is the best thing that has ever happened to pediatric dentistry. Period. One of my children requires a lot of extra help because of a medical condition. She has Type 1 Diabetes. Because of this, she will always have to eat and drink through the night to keep her from going into a hypoglycemic low. He was not only super knowledgeable but he is also incredibly empathetic and kind. And for this Mama, he is everything I have been praying for and more. My kids are so excited to go to his office! My oldest is upset I have gone without him. The staff, atmosphere, the play waiting area, gold coins for the toy machines, treasure box, tooth brushes, animal balloons, etc. etc. etc. make this the most magical and wonderful place. When my babes were stir crazy the dental assistants and staff were quick to jump in and entertain them so I could have an in depth conversation with Dr. Vik, who presented me with numerous options for her. And that, that is incredibly empowering. Especially when I am sitting in a position where my daughters needs will continue to cause her potential cavities. He is fabulous! I simply cannot state how grateful I am for this exceptional office. They go above and beyond. Thank you Dr. Vik and staff!! We love you!

Simon Lobo

Our two year old had two cavities that another dentist had checked and told us that she would need to be put under general anesthetic in a hospital because she would probably be too wriggly for them do anything in house. We wanted a second opinion and we were referred to Dr. Stout. He fixed her teeth beautifully, in a very short amount of time, all in house and without the general. My daughter cannot wait to go back. We also paid a fraction of what the first office proposed. I’m not saying cheaper is always better, but why even suggest a general, especially on a two year old when you can avoid it. Getting back to the positive, I would recommend Dr Stout to anyone.

My daughter had her first dentist appointment at SLO Pediatric Dental and I could not have more positive things to say. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My daughter loved it, even though she doesnt like her mouth messed with. Dr. Vik was great and took the time to go over everything with me. I didnt feel like we were rushed at all which is my pet peeve about some doctors/dentists. I would recommend this place to anyone with children.

This office is fabulous! The girls in the front make this office! Chelsea got me in same day cause my son had tooth pain. She seemed like she actually cared about him. The whole office was fun sweet and easy. Dr. was funny and gentle. Keep up the good work! I would refer anyone with kids especially if they are a bit nervous. They will love it! So fun! My kids (7 & 9) literally love going to the dentist now! Ive NEVER experienced such an amazingly caring staff! I cant say enough about Dr Viks (Dr Tiku) kindness and truely caring bedside manner.
