Costco itself is of course great but this optician experience was terrible. The receptionist has zero manners and has no customer service skills at all. The DR also isnt friendly. Not that he did anything wrong medically (I assume) but he has no "bedside manner" as they say. He didnt introduce himself, didnt explain what he was doing, didnt give me any specific information on my eyes other than to say, they have got worse from my current prescription. Well heck, I know that as thats why I made the appointment. I have used Costco elswhere for past several years and it will be elswhere moving forward. I wouldnt recommend this guy to anyone.

I have gone here for all my scripts for my contacts for about three years. Yes they have gone through a few receptionists but Dr Nakatani has always been good and nice. Today I had a problem with a foreign body in my eye that was painful he did an examination and treated me on site and asked for a follow up exam in two days no charge. I went in with no appointment and he took me anyways realizing I was in pain. Awesome and cheaper than going into a Medical Doctor.

Went in to Costco to have mine and my wifes eyes checked. We ordered our classes, once they came in my wife noticed he vision was worse with the glasses on. She went back and asked the receptionist to have the doctor take a look at her prescription. The receptionist was really rude, and said the doctor will not see it and we would have to pay again for another exam. Dont waste your money.
