Sean did a great job on my right shoulder and Kevin and John (no longer there) on my left 10 years ago. Very upbeat carrying staff overall. My last attempt to make an appointment with them ended with me giving up due to one or two inept persons at the front desk. A little history, (mostly for Kevin who runs a great physical therapy office, but might not realize hes losing clients due to poor customer service) I had to leave 3 messages before getting a return call and making an appointment. That had never happened before, but people get busy, I understand. 2 hours before my appointment today I get a call from K (name withheld in trying to be nice), who is seemingly peeved from the beginning. I thought she was just calling to remind me of my appointment, but she just started in, "what are you coming in for? " "My jaw... " Ive already given all this info when i made the appointment. "Whats your insurance number and plan? " I tell her it is blue shield hmo, she says they dont take that. I patiently tell her i was just there a few months ago on a referral from Memorial Care and now have a referral for my jaw. She asks me what memorial care office my referral is from. I tell her RSM. I hear someone in the background talking to her and. ...yeah, if youre still reading this youre thinking, "this is getting annoying. .." then they tell me that Ill have to fax a copy of the referral to them. Im at work by the way. So I just said, go ahead and just cancel my appointment, thinking this isnt worth it and it seems you dont accept my insurance anyway, even though Im looking at the fourth referral Ive received over the last two years to Rausch PT. Kevin, Ill try to call you and talk to you directly about it, but i may not be able to get through. Hopefully youll be able to read this and figure out where the breakdown is, unfortunately while I think you guys are great, I do expect to be treated better on the front end if Im going to bring my business to you. If youve read this far, Rausch PT had the best PTs (if Sean cant fix youre shoulder, youd be hard pressed to find someone better), but just be more patient than I in making your appointment
