I had seen several doctors who claimed they could treat endometriosis and was very disappointed and heartbroken when all their methods failed. They said, "there is no cure for Endometriosis".... THATS IT?? Thats all you have to say to me??! And all the while, I was still in such excruciating and dibilitating pain. I could not work. I could not function or even do the simplest of tasks. My social life -- gone. My career -- gone. I had no life as a result of this disease. I was almost lost of all hope..... until I met Dr. Cook, that is. Yes, it is true there is no cure for Endometriosis. At least, not yet. But there are ways to make the pains manageable and help you live comfortably. And Dr. Cook did that all for me. His techniques are truly CUTTING-EDGE. Far more advanced than all the rest. He knows more about Endometriosis than any doctor I know - - and Ive been to MANY, mind you, seeking help for this illness. He doesnt just perform surgery (laparsocopy) and send you on your merry way. NO. His center, Vital Health Institute, is a "one-stop shop", if you will, of all things endometriosis and pelvic pain-related. He and his staff devote so much of their time to following up with you even after your surgery, making sure you are recovering well and the quality of your life is improving. They truly care. I dont know who this "STEVE" is who wrote a negative review on Dr. Cook, but I am convinced that he must be insane. Dr. Cook is NOT money hungry. That idea is absolutely absurd and laughable. Dr. Cook is not only one of the most well-informed and well-educated doctors in the world on the study, research and treatment of Endometriosis, but he is also exceptionally compassionate and understanding. If you are undergoing financial strain (like most of us are nowadays!), there are ways where he and his staff can help you... so you can get better! They will not turn you away! Dr. Cook takes the time to listen. He cares. Hes sympathetic. Hes personable. And most of all, he understands our pain. He treats every single patient on an individual basis. He doesnt go "by the book", treating every patient the same way, because he understands that each woman experiences Endometriosis differently. The affects of Endometriosis vary from patient to patient. He truly listens and tunes in carefully with what each patient is going through. Dr. Cook saved my life and the lives of so many others. I am so grateful to him! The quality of my life and my health has improved... better than I ever expected.. because of Dr. Cook.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cook and Vital Health Institute. Four years ago I was having severe health problems and was totally disgusted with the doctors in my area. I could not find any doctor that could identify what was happening in my body and was told it was just part of the menopausal phase. My periods were so heavy I could not leave the house. I had severe cramping and pain. I was experiencing panic attacks, allergic reactions to everything, depression, hot flashes, severe itching, weight gain, heart palpitations, forgetfulness, dizziness, and numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. I would wake up every morning and look at myself in the mirror and cry because I saw a stranger. I wanted my old self back. I sat down with six telephone books from San Francisco to Los Angeles and made myself a promise. I would work my way through the telephone books until I could find a doctor that could help me...I found Dr. Cook! His staff is highly professional and caring. I initially talked to Michele on the phone and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I met with Dr. Cook and he quickly identified the problem. He put me on bio identical hormones. Because I had huge fibroids causing heavy bleeding, I had a hysterectomy. I can barely see the three tiny incisions. Bravo Dr. Cook! I do NOT have ANY menopausal symptoms and have lost 65 pounds. I am currently involved in theatre arts, music, and dance. I exercise 7 days a week and have a whirl wind schedule--I love every minute of it! I am embracing life and having a ball!! By the time I went to Dr Cooks, I had seen countless doctors. A few were less than kind and suggested that the pain was in my head. I had endured around five or more surgeries. Dr Cook and staff treats his patients with the compassion and dignity one deserves when fighting a chronic illness. He utilizes the best of western and eastern approaches, and will not stop until he finds the root of the issue. His compassionate approach along with his mercurial treatment will help you get to a point where you can understand your problem, and put you in a better place physically, emotionally and spiritually. He is kind, gentle and one of the best in his field. I only wish I had found him earlier in my diagnosis. His staff is wonderful and treats you with kindness and dignity as well. Dr. Cook has a unique approach to treating endometriosis. Not only is he skilled at using state of the art techniques to remove endometriosis, he looks at all factors in reviewing a patient. Many endo patients just dont have endo, they have other issues driving them crazy. Dr Cook helps you find them and get the appropriate treatment. Dr Cook and staff treat you with compassion, dignity and persistance, They wont put you on a painful regiment ot treatment because it seems the path of least resistance. They will seek out and find the correct treatment for you. An investment in Dr Cook is one well, well worth it. Dont wait a second longer if you are suffering- make an appt right away. You will never regret it.

Dr.cook is such an amazing, wonderful person. He goes beyond to make you better. His staff make you feel at home.They also have the passion to want to help you feel better.He is not money hungry! What could we do about insurance policy? Although i paid upfront, i was reimbursed the next month from my insurance. I have been through over a dozen of doctors and Dr. Cook was the only one that cured me. Other doctors do not have the passion to help their patients. I never heard of patients from around the world to come just to see a doctor? There are a lot of woman that come to Dr. Cook regardless of how many miles to travel, regardless of how much money they have to spend to fly across or around the world. Even if i never would get reimbursed for paying up front every last peny of mine would be worth seeing Dr.Cook. He never runs out of alternatives for his patients. He took very good care of me. In reality he changed my life! Gave me hope for my health and hope for my future. I thank God for making a angel like Dr. Cook.

In my 46 years, Ive been chronically ill and had six pelvic surgeries, so I know something about illness and medical care. My sixth and final surgery was with Dr. Andrew Cook. Dr. Cook is, by far, THE BEST SURGEON I have ever had the great good luck to find. He has the bedside manner, the attention to detail, the superior talent and a genuine interest in you as a patient suffering from undiagnosed illness. I was believed from the minute I walked in the door. His institute, Vital Health, gave me the support and after care that I needed to get to where I am today -- in better health than I ever thought possible. Obviously, I cannot say enough about him and his staff. They are the best you will ever find.
