We took our cats to Dr Enke and Dr Penzien all the ten years I lived in Martinez - well miss them now that weve moved away. Were proud to give them the highest recommendation for their skill, goodness of heart, and genuine love for the animals in their care. When my beloved Midnight, at 17, had to be euthanized, Dr Penzien and the staff were wonderful and allowed me to be with Midnight to the last moment. We prayed and allowed Midnight to ease comfortably into the Lords arms; I was so impressed with Dr Bevs patience and endless care. Afterward, they even sent a card and they called to see how I was doing! What a great veterinarian. P T Cruiser & Chaos, Mia, Flower, Dixie and Jerry are entertaining and fun ambassadors (catbassadors?) The mere fact that they have six catbassadors says a lot for how loving they are, and kittens are usually available for adoption there. These people really do care!!! Youll be glad you got to know them. As for me, I miss them all...may they be blessed!!

Ive been taking my feline "son" to the Martinez Animal Hospital since I got him from the shelter, well over six years now. We visit the hospital regularly for well-cat visits as well as nail trims and food. I also board my cat there when I am traveling. Both the cat and I have had marvelous care at the Martinez Animal Hospital. Every staff member there is the pinnacle of compassion and professionalism. The animals get first-rate care and the pet parents are treated very well - every procedure and diagnosis is carefully explained, the fees are very reasonable, and they will try their best to accomodate you in any way possible. The entire staff is just exceptional. I am proud to give the highest recommendation for the Martinez Animal Hospital.

Maggie Mae and I were directed to MAH just recently by one of their extremely satisfied customers, and we were instantly convinced that we have no reason to visit another veterinarian... Period! Maggie Mae, by the way, looks like a Yorkshire terrier, but actually is my youngest daughter. At least thats what the two of us like to think. And both of us are simply thrilled with the complete care she receives at MAH during every visit. From a staff, every single one of them, who love animals. If you want any/all of your pet critters to receive the greatest care available, make MAH their caregiver beginning now.

Excellent facility. When I moved to Pleasant Hill a few years ago I was very particular about choosing a vet for my German Shepherd. It was pretty obvious from the moment I walked in that everyone associated with MAH loved animals and were comfortable around large dogs as well as small dogs and cats. Dr. Enke was very cool. She listened as I gave her my dogs history, asked questions, and then gave her input. Her suggestions have been very helpful and my GSD is doing great. Everyone at MAH has been super to us. I wouldnt think of taking King anywhere else.

This animal hospital is the best in the West! Ive been going to the Martinez Animal Hospital for many years and I have yet to have anything but stellar visits, with both the medical and front office staff. My pet has received excellent medical care over the years, and I have been treated with the upmost respect and care as well. The MAH is a one-stop shop; I can buy pet food, get my pet groomed, or board him as necessary, its so seamless. Without any reservation whatsoever, I highly recommend the Martinez Animal Hospital.

I love MAH! They have always given excellent quality service. The staff is compassionate, very user friendly, and understanding. We brought in our 2 new cats-brother and sister/Rex and Paizlee and introduced them to the MAH Staff. The cats loved the place and had their toes nails clipped just for the occasion.
