I decided to give Arroyo Vet a try after being a loyal customer of VCA for over 20 years with several cats and a dog. Im so glad I did. Dr Mavi was absolutely wonderful with my newly adopted dog of 5 days. My dog is extremely fearful of strangers and shows the fear by growling, barking, and of course sitting in my lap to protect me even after only 5 days. Dr. Mavi was so sweet and gentle and really took his time greeting my dog. By the end of the appointment my dog was eagerly eating treats and sitting at Dr. Mavis command. Dr. Mavi answered my long list of questions and gave me very good advice for a newly adopted shelter dog. We had to return back to the office the next business day for an urgent appointment because my dog was having some extreme stress at daycare but the office staff was very sympathetic to my dogs stress issues and fit us right in the schedule. Again, the entire staff was very sweet with my dog and made him feel as comfortable as a stressed out and scared dog possibly could.

Arroyo has a great staff, everyone is so friendly, even the pets there! Everytime Ive went here, the costs were explained thoroughly and Ive never felt like I was being cheated. Ive noticed that they always throw in a couple things for free and I definitely appreciate every bit, pet bills can really add up but I trust these guys to help me make the right decision for my pet. Recently, my dog was acting strange and they had to stabilize her levels here and let me know I would have to take her to an emergency vet (VCA) down the street for overnight care. The vet at Arroyo let me know that they were going to charge at least double what I was paying and gave me good advice on how and what would happen if I took different routes. I really value and trust this staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend Arroyo and their staff to anyone looking for great care and a friendly staff!

Ive been on the eternal vet hunt for my boxer and Italian Greyhound mix and I just have never found the right one. I have to admit, I tried this place several years back with my cat, had a female dr. there and I was not impressed at all. Didnt go back for years - but thought Id give it a try with my boxer because its so convenient and so close to home. I think they got a new dr. in a while back and what a refreshing vet he is. He loves the animals, is kind, honest and fair. The office staff is also very caring now. Now, I take both my dogs, Maile and Hermes, here and will continue to do so as long as they retain this staff and I live in the area.

Not knowing anyone in the area since moving here we were in need of a vet for our little girl Daisy. They are located not far from where we live so I looked them up online. The reviews I read were good and they also had a website that offered a first time wellness exam for a huge discount. Of course that was great. When calling to make an appointment the girl was very friendly. Once at the appointment the staff was so friendly like we were there many times. Daisy was comfortable with them all and we have had very thorough exams and information for her each time.

What can i say about the staff at Arroyo Vet that i have not said before; they are the most loving and caring group of workers that take their job above and beyond. Dr. Mavi is the most caring vet i have ever known. He listens to your issues you may have with your pet, and gives you the best advice. As for the staff of techs and the receptionists at the front desk, i always feel so welcomed when i walk through the door, and they treat my dogs as part of a big family, and not just another client.

Ive been taking my dog here since he was a pup and they have always taken good care of him. The receptionist and doctors there are very attentive to the symptoms and always take the best care of him. They dont force products on you but only recommends the best for your dog. When you need any information dont hesitate to call them, they will answer any questions you have. i would recommend this clinic to everyone!

We recently had to bring Rascal in to be put down due to illness and it was the hardest thing we had to do. The staff of Arroyo were very patient, loving and caring during this time. Since moving to S.L. in 2008, the doctores and staff have been excellent in their care of both our dog, Stewie, and our 3 kitties, Merlin, Bubastis, and Mr Grey. Whether it was low kidney levels, Urinary tract blockage, or growth removals, they have handled every situation with a kind heart and a professional approach. Always nice to talk to the techs to, they are all very kind!

I enjoyed coming to Arroyo Veterinary Clinic and so did my B.F.F. (Best Furry Friend), Ebony. Being the Diva Dog that she is, she lavished in all the attention. Dr. Mavi is a very thoughtful veterinarian. The staff is very friendly. And the two great danes greeted everyone with finesse. I will come here whenever Ebony needs to see a veterinarian.

Were with our second dog going to Arroyo Vet. Clinic, and prefer it over several others weve tried. Dr. Mavi always has the time to discuss any concerns or answer questions regarding our Bernese, Tahoe. Good, friendly staff and usually easy to get an appointment that works best for us.

So I rescued a little 3 lb long haired Chihuahua who had really bad teeth and Arroyo Vet said they would work with me.1800.00 was the low estimate. Sucks,.Looks like Hairy will die of gum disease.
