Dr A was fantastic with my dog. He came regarded and I live near, so he was my first choice. However, he prescribed medications without telling me what they were supposed to accomplish and told me to come back if she shows symptoms of an obstruction(pain, vomiting, distention) or doesnt get better in 7 days .So... what was he treating with bland food, antibiotics and probiotics? Her diarrhea? For $90(including exam fee). He never even asked me what my concerns were. Just took info from the tech. The techs arent doctors and cant discern all pertinent information from non pertinent(well some can, but these ones acted like they had no clue what an obstruction was and looked at me funny for bringing the chewed up rope in). I feel like I just blew $90 on something I could have just waited out. Or who knows I could need another visit. since my dog hasnt had diarrhea this runny EVER. Surely Ill go to mid valley or Cal West since everyone recommended it. I hate to write poorly about someone who obviously loves dogs. He just wasnt a good detective and a good vet is a good detective not just a play buddy.

Ive been going to Pet Vet for over 10 years, as a former Vet Tech myself I can say that Dr. Aguiano and his staff are welcoming, kind, understanding, intelligent and always willing to help and go the extra mile for you and your beloved pet. Dr. Aguianos warmth makes you feel right at home. Prices are decent, I always tell everyone Dr.A can write his own book on Veterinary medicine, hes that good. For those of you who cannot speak English, (Se Habla Español), very important now a days. Yo a estado viniendo a Pet Vet por 10 años, yo era un Veterinario Techniqo y el Doctor Aguiano y su personal son muy acogedor, muy buen tipo, comprensión, inteligentes y asen lo máximo para servire a ti y tu querido animal. Los precios son decente, le digo a todos, el doctor puede escribir su propio libro si quiere, así es de bueno. Y se habla español.

I just googled to find the phone number for our vet and had to wrote because I couldnt believe that people were writing such negative things. Dr A. has been our vet for our 4 dogs ever since the youngest 2 were puppies (9 years ago). He is wonderful. He cares about the dogs and even though they dont really like being at the vet, they love him. we have always found him to be fair and honest and to bend over backwards whenever we had a urgent need. Even though we moved away from Vacaville, we still travel 20 miles to use him. I cant recommend Dr A. and his staff enough.

I LOVE this place. Dr. A and his staff are first class. I have read comments from the negative reviewers and just dont get it. I have had nothing but the best service from everyone there. Dr. A definitely cares a great deal and always has a lot of compassion for my animals. Cost wise, I am not sure where he is compared to other vets, I think he is very reasonable, very knowledgeable and very kind. I also choose to ask questions and find out the whats and whys just like I do when I take my child to the doctor. I always get answers and no one is ever rude.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. A since 2003. He and his staff have always provided excellent medical care for my 3 dogs and my cat. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One of my dogs suffered from chronic pancreatitis, and Dr. A and his staff always got me last minute appointments when he would have a flare up, and they always kept his special order prescription food in stock for me. I have and will continue to reccommend Vacaville Pet Vet Clinic to my friends and family.

Gave us a quote for a minor procedure and then changed it when we came in and increased it, I was able to "negotiate" with him to bring cost down to only a little more than the original estimate but by that time I just decided to leave and go to another vet for a 2nd opinion found a GREAT vet across town who did not try and jerk us around on the cost and they did a fantastic job for almost $100 LESS then the PetVets original quote. I am NEVER going back to this place!

Dr. Anguiano and his staff are first class. My 11 year old german shepherd was having difficulty with his back legs as they all do. However it has gotten so bad he could barely walk sometimes. Dr. A examined him and knew exactly what to do and what type and dose of medication would be best for my boy. He is now running around as if he is far younger than he really is. I whole heartedly intrust my furry family members to Dr. Anguiano, Dr. Hatt and his entire staff!

I am very picky when it comes to medical things and I am the same way with my pets and there medical needs. I only go to people I get a good vibe from and everything was awesome here. I felt very comfortable and they were great with my cat. They have great prices and I got a follow up call the next day to make sure that my cat Garfield was doing ok. I highly recommend this place and I will continue to come here.

Dr Anguiano (Dr A) has been seeing our pets for the past 8 years. His experience and overall love of animals is evident every time we come in for a vaccination or check-up. We consider our pets a part of the family and expect the best care to keep them happy and healthy. This is the care that Dr A gives our pets and why we give him a 5+ star rating. We highly recommend you take your pets to Dr A.

We took our two ferrets in for vaccinations, and little Stewie got really sick after the injections. Dr. A was with another client, and immediately stepped out and helped her when she was in distress. They only charged for the vaccinations, and NOTHING for the several additional meds he had to administer to make her better. He was very caring, and was more than generous in helping her.

Dr A is the toughest act to follow! I trust him whole heartedly with my baby girl ( Maltese)! I would let him operate on me, he so knowledgeable can handle everything weve thrown at him. His name is Angel and he lives up to it! I love him for the quality of his work his passion for our pet family. He is worth every penny, you cant put a price on a family members health!

Dr Anguiano is great. Hes saved the life of my cat several times & I have two pugs as well. Hes been real good with them as well and weve managed to keep them out of trouble. He has a good rapport with the animals and hes not a salesman. I really like that. If one of my animals doesnt need something done he doesnt push it. I really like him.

I had the worst experience at Pet Vet. The Doctor is mean, unkind, and unprofessional. This Pet Vet cares more about $$$ than the animals. Shame on them for their lack of compassion! The office staff is also very rude just like Dr. A. I wouldnt trust these people with my animals and I suggest you dont either.
