I went to Terry Franklin because I moved to Monterey need to find a local doctor. After few months, I found its not too right to me. I thought he wants to maximum using the limits of my medical insurance, its too good even I dont need to pay any copay. Then he asked to have some laboratory test, later on my found the insurance did not cover them all, I have to pay large amount out of the pocket and I never have to pay so much from other doctors. It seemed he asked to check more items that may not necessary for me, as I mentioned before, he wanted to maximum the insurance claims. More, when talked about the supplements I take, he said the brands I take is crap, and asked me to buy the supplements from him directly, which are more expensive. So I will not recommend Terry Franklin to you.

The front desk staff at this office is so rude. I called them 4 times over a weeks time and each time was placed on hold until I heard a message stating that they were away and that I could leave a message. I left 2 or 3 messages with the office. The last time I had had enough, I called back to find out that they dont see children under 5! All of that wasted time. If they had only spoken to me to find out what I needed 1 call would have covered it. I never stepped foot in the office, but Id be scared to given the awesome care I was given over the phone.

Dr. Franklin is simply terrific! Being disabled with a neurological disease/injury, its sometimes all I can do to lead as normal a life as possible. Knowing Dr. Franklin has my back (so to speak) by closely monitoring my overall health, making certain I get the necessary blood work analyzed, being creative with diet and exercise, etc. makes my life so much easier. Ive moved away from the Monterey area, but will continue to make the app 150 mile trip to his office because I dont feel I could get such high quality care anywhere else.

When I came back to the area I was lucky enough to be able to get him as my primary care DR! he is a great DR- knowledgeable, kind, and goes the distance with you to help you any way he can. I have not found him to be arrogant- he is just very good at what he does! he takes aggressive action and that is exactly why I go to him. I dont need my hand held. I need a dr that cares about my health and gets results. as for his staff- they are the best Ive ever dealt with! they always are pleasant and do their jobs very well!
