My husband got his eyes checked here and raved about how thorough they were. I havent worn glasses for 4 years now. Every time I had an eye exam ANYWHERE, it was done fast and the prescription was always wrong. I decided to try these guys out on my husbands recommendation because I DO need to be wearing glasses. I am EXTREMELY pleased. The optometrist spent an hour or more easily with me. He noticed right away that I was having trouble giving consistent answers to what I could and couldnt see well. He did a bunch of stuff, dilated my eyes, used all kinds of equipment and at the end I finally have the right prescription. He even tested the prescription on me with these special glasses that he could put my prescription in. I looked ridiculous in them, but I could see and not get headaches!! I definitely recommend East bay Vision Center.

I was prepping for a camping trip when I realized (at the last minute) that I had failed to reorder contact lenses. In a panic, I called up the folks at East Bay Vision Center and booked an appt. right away. During my eye exam, I was thrilled to hear that my vision had actually Improved since my last exam and the doctor gave me a brief but thorough list of options for newer, safer contact lenses now available to keep my vision healthy. The friendly staff there assured me that not only could they order my new set of contact lens straight away, but confirmed an expedited shipment in time for my trip. Super nice and very accommodating... I definitely recommend.

These guys really are great at what they do, totally professional in the way that they carry out their business – always. I must admit I am a fairly new customer, but every trip to have my eyes checked has gone swimmingly well. As I’m sure you all realized, customer service and well being made to feel like you are being put first is always a great thing, so when a company like these guys does exactly that, you can only speak positively of them. Thanks for all of the hard work!

Ordered glasses and "custom" clip-ons which they assured me would be a custom fit for the frames. Clip-ons arrived and did not fit the frames! Trying to get a refund from them is like pulling teeth. Terrible customer service, even for a no-brainer like this. The only other customer I saw in their shop also had a terrible experience, was very angry with them. Typical Chinatown hole-in-the-wall level of service. I would stay away.

Its rare to find staff which are motivated and clearly love their job, and that treat you nicely. I look forward to coming here. My pros would be the service, the price and the professionalism, the cons...that there isnt more of these places about? My default choice for opticians now.

pros: great frame selection cons: bad customer service with horrible attitude. maybe it was just a bad day for the optometrist but i did not appreciate her bitchy tone of voice and rushing through my follow up visit. will not be coming back.

Avoid. Have been coming here for years. Returned after 2 year absence. Horrible service, rude receptionist, appointments completely not on time, zero respect for patients time and schedule, lost records just to draw out time.
