There should be a NEGATIVE STAR rating here. I got my first set of glasses there. I dont know about the doctor, I went to Capitol Hill vision for that, but their glasses were too expensive for me, so I went to Eyes Right for a better price (I was quite pleased with my doctor, by the way. I forget his name, but I recommend him as a doctor). Being as I had never worn glasses before, I thought my experience was normal - until my wife put them on. And then many of my friends, all with different prescriptions and some who dont wear glasses at all, did the same. They were foggy and caused a triple-effect with lights (i.e. track lights). I just figured that was part of the price you paid for wearing them. Wrong. The people at Eyes Right said that they would replace them if something was wrong. But, when I went there, both of the workers acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. They treated me like a child with an overactive imagination, telling me that they saw no such thing, even though I and about 20 other people knew otherwise. They claimed it must be that my doctor misdiagnosed my prescription. I finally went to Sears for new glasses and could immediately tell the difference and I actually wear my glasses now that I can see crystal clear. I wish there would have been reviews on here before I went.

Its not the worst service - and in fact when I picked out my glasses it wasnt that bad. But when I went to pick them back up there were a few problems that were written off by both women. They talked me into getting an anti-reflective coating in conjunction w/ a clear buff of my lens edges (b/c I have thick, poly carb lenses) which is causing weird distortions towards the outside of my lens (kind of like a bi-focal effect but from left to right). When I had the glasses checked at another location (b/c I needed the ear pieces adjusted which they didnt do) they mentioned that in the future I should make sure that doesnt happen b/c with plastic lenses it lets in too much light through the edge. Not something I would have known to ask - basically if you are looking for cute frames at a cheap price and know what you need then they are fine but I dont think either woman really knows that much about eyewear.

I just went into my first eye exam there and I HAVE to say, I loved my experience and would recommend to everyone. I saw some negative reviews and its pretty clear those reviews are ancient so just ignore them! SO glad my provider steered me to this place. The coverage (VSP) was excellent and I feel like I got treated the best an eye care office could treat me. Dr Roh is wonderful and her staff are wonderful as well. Very proffessional, very time efficient and they really do care about your eyes health. I highly recommend this place. ;o) They also have a fantastic person in charge of helping you pick out frames for those of you who also wear glasses. I am very excited about my new purple geek-chic frames! ;oD

Dr. Roh and her staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Im a new patient, and I came in because my old glasses were falling apart. They were able to repair my old glasses as well as help me pick out a new pair. My glasses were pricier than they have been in the past, but I have a high prescription, I wear my glasses everyday, and the service was excellent, so I felt comfortable with purchasing a new pair of glasses here.

Agree that the receptionist isnt always the friendliest but I like the doctor. Plus, they are by far the most affordable on the contact lens fitting fee. Most insurance companies dont cover it and Eyes Rites charges just $35, compared to $75 - $100 for every other in-network provider Ive called. Ive moved to the eastside since first starting here but still drive over because the prices are so much better.

Ive been going here for the past 2 years and have not had any problems with reception. I havent picked out new glasses, so maybe theres 2 receptionists? Theyve been nice and helpful every time I call and willing to work with my schedule. Dr. Cocke and Dr. Roh are thorough and open about what theyre doing, checking, etc. Since I havent had a negative experience, I would definitely recommend them.

I will never go back there. The doctor was okay, but the woman who helped me pick out glasses was horrible. I asked her to tighten the arms on my glasses, and she destroyed them. She ended up heating the glasses to try to bend them (I dont know why?) and she melted the frames and the lenses. Now I can hardly see out of them and they are all bent out of shape. She was also extremely rude.

Wow. Its true. I should have paid attention to the first review, which I actually read and unfortunately ignored before my appointment. The younger receptionist was extremely snotty for no reason and acted like a know-it-all. The Doctor, while nice, treated me like a total number. It was like, "get in the chair, heres your eye problem, ..next!" It was an unpleasant experience overall.

Dr Roh is wonderful and her support staff is fantastic! They fit me in last minute with open arms and smiles and made me feel like a million bucks!! I so appreciate the service, assistance, smiles and genuine care. Wonderful group that made Wallingford Eye Care my one and only eye care place from here on out!!

Both the receptionist and the DOCTOR have been very rude and disrespectful since the time I first called. I chose this office based simply on the proximity to my location. What a huge mistake! The people right down the street on University and 43rd are much much friendlier.

Dr. Roh got my prescription to be 20/15, I can see better than when I was 40. Also, she noticed a past eye ailment, and was able to explain it to me, while past doctors didnt even notice the ailment was there.
