This review is in regards Mr. Everharts office manager Sheri Cook. Her negligence resulted in a bill for over $900 after my husband had some cavities fixed. My husband and I both had DUAL dental insurance through his job and mine, typically this means we have to pay almost zero money out of pocket for dental services because of the double insurance coverage. Since this was out first time using Mr. Everharts office, I called and spoke to Sheri Cook, gave her both of our SSNs and our insurance policy information, and asked her to check and make sure everything would be covered under our insurance policies. Sheri called me back to tell me that everything was 100% covered, and so I proceeded with making an appointment for my husband. Fast-forward a few months and I get a bill in the mail for over $900. I call Sheri Cook and ask why on Earth we would have ANY charges at all, let alone a bill for $900. She then proceeded to inform me that Dr. Everhart is OUT-OF-NETWORK for our insurance carriers, and that we have "terrible" insurance coverage. I was furious. Im not an idiot and I fully understand the difference between in-network and out-of-network. When we use in-network dentists.... we dont have to pay a dime!!! I asked Sheri why she didnt inform me that Dr. Everhart was out-of-network (when I ORIGINALLY called her, gave her our SSN numbers and insurance policies), so we could have avoided this whole scenario??? Im writing this review to tell you that Sheri Cook not only blamed me and my husband, but was rude and refused to accept any responsibility for her mistake. After refusing to pay the bill (because I felt so strongly that I was being taken advantage of), our account was reported to a collection agency. The collection agency told me that Dr. Everharts office had my husbands signature on paperwork stating that we take responsibility for the $900. I asked the collection agency to send me this paperwork, and his signature was forged. Obviously we believe Sheri Cook forged his signature to cover up her mistake. We will be filing a police report in regards to forging his signature. My recommendation would be that you find a dentist with a office staff that is better trained and more importantly, honest.

I am an old guy with a lot of dental work needed. Met the Doc as he came to me for my services in the Ag Tractor business. Liked the guy and could tell he was a true professional (like me) He scheduled me right in and has been working on me since (two months now) His office is very neat and clean and sooooo Hi tech beyong belief and a staff that has no words to describe. Not the cheapest guy in town but we say in my business you get what you pay for. My family used the same dentist for ever and he retired about ten yrs ago. I had been to two different dentists the first I was not happy with but loved his staff, the second was killed in a Motorcycle accident only a week after I had gone for my second visit. So here I am and happy as a lark, to tell you just how great these folks are my long term girlfriend works for a dentis and her daughter is a hygienist there to but I wil stick with Doc E and the crew. thank you and these folks wil always be highly recomended ron adams

I am pleased to say this is the FIRST review I have EVER written online! Thats how strongly we feel about this business and our entire family experience with them! This is the finest Dentist…no, even better…the FINEST DOCTOR’S OFFICE and STAFF we have EVER had the pleasure of visiting! From Dr. Jim to each and every staff member, we just can’t say enough good things about Everhart Dentistry! The follow-up phone calls from Dr. Jim in the evenings were a completely unexpected and impressively caring touch. It’s one thing to hear from staff members, but when THE doctor takes the time to make a personal call, I’m impressed! We hope they don’t ever stop that important touch! Thank you Dr. Everhart and Team! We are PROUD to recommend Everhart Dentistry to ALL our friends!

Literally the worst dental office I have been too. While Dr. Everhart was pleasant and personable, the front office staff was so incredibly difficult to work with, saying at one point, Dr. Everhart handles all the emails. Their refusal to release my dental records was quite concerning, and the rudeness and immature nature was simply unbelievable. Mercedes, who seemed to get stuck with any and all calls Gale didnt want to deal with, seemed to want to help, but at a certain point, (when Gale literally refused to speak about releasing my records) it seemed fairly onvious she was put in an awkward position. In heinsight, there is most likely a reason this dentist has same day app. Available, and is offering specials for new patients

I have never been one to like going to the dentist but I really must confess...Dr James Everhart has got it right. Wonderful, friendly staff that make you feel at ease straight away. The Dr himself, I believe, is the most personable dentist I have ever been to see. Everybody here is down to earth and the treatment I have received from this Dentist has been quick, comfortable and I can have no negative to say. Lastly and by no means leastly....I feel that this is a dentist you can trust to do the best job and you dont get the feeling you are being ripped off. Thank you Dr J.

Wow!! What an awesome dentist! I have to say walking into his office is like a breath of fresh air. No awful smells, it actually smells like fresh baked cookies if you can believe it. His staff is very professional and extremely friendly. Made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The office is extremely clean and well kept. The Doc, as he likes to be called, is by far the happiest dentist I have ever been to. He has wonderful chairside manner and his shots are painless!! Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Great office with very friendly staff. I dont normally write reviews but I had such a positive experience here that I had to share it. Everyone was so nice, from the front office to the assistants, to Dr. Everhart. It feels more like visiting family than going to the dentist!

I have had the best experiences with Dr. Everhart AND his great staff. Im one of those people that has a lot of anxiety with dentist appointments. Dr Everharts up-beat and hilarious sense of humor makes it an almost pleasant experience.

I had great service at Dr. Everharts for years. However they do not carry the insurance coverage I currently have; so, costs would be twice as much if I stayed with them.
