As far as Dr. Johnsons medical care is concerned, I cant really provide an accurate rating as I only visited him one time in June for a basic medical check up. He was pleasant and everything went smoothly but it was very routine so theres nothing more to say about that aspect of my relationship with him. The low rating is entirely based on the terrible service I received from his billing office (Sierra Spring Wellness). A couple of months after my visit for the check up I received a bill for $265. I called the business office to ask why I had received a bill as I was fully covered by insurance. I left a voice mail and received no response. Over the next several months, I continued to receive bills (4-5 perhaps?) and every time I called the office and left a voice mail. I never received a reply. Eventually I called his practice directly and asked how I could speak to someone to address this situation. They provided me with a different number to the business office and I was finally able to reach a live human, who explained that since the medical check up was work-related, it had been denied by my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket (fair enough). They offered to reprocess the bill for a cash discount and I should expect an adjusted bill. When I finally received the adjusted bill it was a much more palatable $65, which I paid Dec. 30. Today (Jan. 11) I received a letter from a collection agency seeking $70.86. As soon as the Dr. Johnsons office opens, Im calling to let him know that I am no longer a patient of his, I want the collection bill rescinded and Id better not see anything on my credit report about it. What a headache!

I have moved to Texas, back to my home state, but while I was privledged to be his patient for my time in California he was the best and the very well trusted Doctor I have seen through my many youthful years of 65. He will be missed dearly, as his staff. Graciously Thank You for all you did for me.

Dr. Johnson is the best doctor I have seen in a long time. He and his staff, are the best, they make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone that wants a great physician.
