Dr. Rush was my daughters doctor from birth to age 2 1/2 when we lived in the Bay Area. We live in Eugene now, but I still tell my 16-year-old gifted girl that Dr. Rush was the most awesome doctor we could ever have had. He told me to expect her to be an early reader, etc., and he was right. When she was born she looked directly at him and followed the small flashlight. He said, "Oh, wow. Shes booted up and ready to go." He was right. He was the most gentle, loving, and informative doctor a mother could ever hope for. When I told him we were moving to Oregon, he sincerely told me that he would miss following our daughters development. And while I didnt keep in touch as I had hoped, I hope this will make it up to him. Dr. Rush, you are the best. I showed Sophie your online video, and I told her, "Thats Dr. Rush, the one I told you about who told me all about my special girl from day one. Loved Loved Loved having Dr Rush as my daughters pediatrician. My daughter loved going to see him - literally at all hours of the day. Going to see Dr Rush in the dark before breakfast in her pajamas for her annual exam was quite a tradition. My daughter was adopted internationally as a toddler. Dr Rush worked in attachment/adoption related questions in his regular exams. Dr Rush made referrals to specialists as needed to have my daughter treated for diagnoses or medical concerns that he and other doctors saw as risks due to poor pre-natal care and a series of neonatal medical problems. We moved out of state this year. One of my biggest concerns with moving was changing doctors. No matter how good the doctors may be at our new home we will ALWAYS treasure our time with Dr Rush and miss that early morning exam appointment tradition. We wish all the best to Dr Rush, his family and staff. Love you all!

LOVE this man! Hes by far the best physician weve ever encountered Hes knowledgeable, compassionate, amazing with the kids and seriously knows his stuff. Weve never had him misdiagnose or brush anything off - ever. He always has nailed it right in the head when something has been wrong for either of my kids. Ive never (in 12 years) NOT gotten a same day appointment. His work ethic is beyond compare I just cant praise him enough. You want to have your kids in the best care possible?..... call Dr Rush!!

I met Dr. Rush when we had our son and he is the best Dr. I can imagine to care for my child! He is very open to any questions or crazy thoughts I might have (being a first time mom...). He does not judge and is very kind and friendly. My husband recently got stationed in Arizona and I was devastated to leave Dr. Rush behind... if we move back to the bay area, I am going to definately go back to Dr. Rush!

I myself and my husband plus my siblings went to Dr Rush now our children go to Dr.Rush ! He is an amazing Doctor!! He has helped so much with my daughter and her rare condition. Words can not describe how much he means to our family . Any questions he answers them even the most silly ones , very knowledgeable and up to date on a lot of things.

Dr. Rush is a very dedicated Pediatrician. He starts work at 5 a.m. or earlier. He truly loves kids and is gentle and compassionate with them. In my opinion he is careful not to over treat or over diagnose patients. His office staff and advice nurse are great and most of them have been with him for years.

I switched pediatricians when my daughter was a toddler, and it was the best move I could have made! Dr. Rush is knowledgeable, friendly, funny and takes the time to ask age appropriate questions of my daughter and wait patiently for her responses. His staff is professional, friendly and very helpful.
