June 28 my wife went in for an eye check up. Two weeks later, July 12, the glasses were still not ready. They did not even reach out to us. We had to call them and remind them we were waiting on glasses.. They told us the reason for the delay was July 4 (which is a horrible excuse because July 4 would only delay anything by one business day) At the three weeks mark (July 20) we called them again. This time they said the reason for the delay was due to my wifes high prescription. They could not guarantee when we would have the glasses. It does not take one month to make glasses. At no time did they apologize, and they instead shift the blame on other factors (blaming the holiday or even blame my wife, the customer). This is very unprofessional and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Also, my wife scheduled a separate appointment to get her contact lens prescription (for some reason some of the doctors can only do glasses prescription) and they called her last minute the day of because the doctor was not able to come in. Again, very unprofessional.

I would definitely recommend against this clinic on de Anza. Against the good counsel of colleagues at work in Cupertino, I scheduled an appointment for eye exam as it was available. There is absolutely no sensitivity time here. With an appointment, I had to wait 20 mins to be called by the receptionist. After that it was nearly 25 mins wait before I was told that there is another client ahead of me. After nearly 45mins for eye exam to even start, there was no way I could wait any longer. The receptionist was super helpful and was apologetic though. However looks like the idea here is to cram as many clients as possible so front office could not help. I understand sometimes appointments get delayed but the overall management is very bad. Sharing with pure intent of letting others know and prepare appropriately. If clinic is reading this, think of it as constructive feedback and improve yourself.

I was told over the phone that I need to sign up for an contact lens exam to get contact lenses. I asked whether this was covered under the same copay as the basic exam and I was told that it was. At my appointment no one said anything else about it (I meant to confirm but there were issues finding me in the insurance database to distract me) until after the exam, when the doctor told me she was charging $200 for it, but would give me a deal at $150. When I told her about the misinformation at the front desk she simply said "they shouldnt have said that." She also tried to throw in a charge about glasses exam that I had never agreed to. I eventually gave up and paid $150 for the contact lens exam, plus the copay for the eye exam. I will be much more careful at every step next time with an eye doctor, obviously at a different clinic.

I was already waiting for 30min.to get glasses then another person came and the lady told me he has an appointment. She told told me someone else going to help me.15min after Im still waiting.then the lady told me were closing in 10 min just come back tomorrow. She could have told me right when I get there instead of making g me wait 45 min.bad service.not getting glasses here again.
