After years of being a patient here and enduring the long waits, I thought I could take the liberty of telling the doctor that he had missed a spot when he injected Dysport a few weeks back. He denied it, and claimed that the spot I was showing him was a natural crevice in my forehead. Well, I happen to know my forehead rather well, so knew it was not. Doctor Jochen said the only thing he could do was inject a filler in the area. So I said to go ahead. Only after he left the room when done did Iearn that he had actually did just what I had wanted- inject Dysport into the area he had missed. No filler was used. I left, and they did not charge me for it...or so I thought. The next morning a staffer called at 8 a.m. and said she had forgotten to charge me $49.95 for the Dysport. She said I needed to take care of it right away and that they could not bill me. So I drove over there and paid the money. A few weeks later I did, in fact, get a bill for it. They had not credited the payment I paid when I made a special trip over there to pay. I wrote a letter of complaint and no one responded. Finally, when my next appointment came up, I hand delivered a letter of complaint detailing the above. I received a response that totally ignored the part about the doctor misleading me on the filler and offering me $100 off of a future treatment. I declined.

Since moving to California last year, I knew I needed to seek out a good dermatologist and I really got lucky with Dr. Jochen and his staff. While Dr. Jochen is talented, personable and highly professional, his staff is as great to deal with as he is. Although this is a very busy practice, I have never felt rushed and in fact they have taken the time to explain in detail every procedure and answer every question. My primary care physician recommended Dr. Jochen and he couldnt have been more right. At 60, my skin looks better than it has in years and that is all due to this terrific doctor and his equally great staff.

Dr Jochen is the BEST. He is an artist extraordinaire I have seen several different doctors for injectable fillers, and his technique and overall expertise is very impressive. He is knowledgeable about all forms of treatment, and instills confidence with his easygoing nature and willingness to listen. Medical problems forced me to find a solution to facial wasting, and he is careful and judicious with fillers and was able to restore my face to a healthier and natural look! I am very glad that I found Contour Dermatology. Dr Sawcer was fantastic in explaining to me the process to eliminate a Melanoma in-situ on my scalp. The procedure only took about 20 minutes and the area is in the healing process. I had no pain during or after the procedure. Dr Sawcers made me feel very comfortable and I enjoy his sense of humor. I went to the Rancho Mirage location did a lot of tests and they prescribed a medicine that my insurance would not pay for. The cost was $770 per small tube as a cash pay. Worse than that after paying for all my tests and visits I was sent to collections over a $43.00 bill that was never submitted to my insurance Company. I would not recommend the services an beware of the billing department. I also found the customer service staff rude and less than helpful. Best of Luck.

They have these great events there that I went to called "Day of Beauty" and the deals are great but the results are even better. I got Botox, and fillers and they really made a difference. My face looks younger and refreshed: not frozen. Im checking out their eye lifts next since its by local anesthesia! I dont want to go under general so that works for me. The doctor is the best Ive ever been to and his results are excellent.

I recently had a squamous cell cancer removed. The doctor was very professional and did a great job removing the cancer and suturing as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wait can sometimes be a little long, but the quality of work by the medical staff makes up for it.
