I had a horrible experience with Dr. Aspacio. When I went in for my initial exam he only addressed my main concern and nothing else. I thought that he was going to come in and finish my exam after I had my biopsy but he did not. He also prescribed Epiduo for my "acne" that I was experiencing without examining my face. He did not come within a foot of my face or ask me any questions about my skin type. He just asked if I was open to taking an oral acne medication. When I was checking out and making my next appointment my wound began to ooze more blood than the band aid could handle. When I asked for a piece of gauze the front desk said she did not have any or any band aids near her. YOU WORK IN A MEDICAL OFFICE!!! GO TO THE BACK AND GET SOME!!!! I grabbed a tissue on the way out and held pressure until the oozing stopped. I work in a medical office and if a patient needed gauze or another band aid I would stop what I was doing and grab it or find someone who could help. The biopsy itself was performed by his PA and she was wonderful. It was pain free during and after. When I went into the office today for my suture to be removed and to receive my results I was asked to pay my co pay for the visit. I thought it was strange that I would be charged for a visit to receive my results and the front desk said that she would talk to the doctor. When I went back the assistant gave me my results and a vague description of what the result was. She was very nice and did a great job of removing my suture and told me she would get further clarification from the doctor. When Dr. Aspacio came in he grabbed the results from my had and said that this was the reason why there was a charge for my visit today because he was going to go over the results with me. I told him that I didnt mind as long as I got to talk to him. He answered my questions as quickly as he could. He seemed very annoyed with me and his tone was rude and demeaning. He said that the dark area seemed to be getting lighter and I told him that I had been in the sun all weekend and that I was more tan making them appear lighter. He said that to him they were lighter and I just dropped it. I did not feel he cared to help me any further. He could only give me suggestions for treatment. It did not seem like he cared to see me back to see if the adjustments would work. I will still need to work on my condition but I will do so with another doctor. When I went to check out I paid the fee for the visit and asked how much his exam fee was and the front office was unable to let me know. She said that there were different types and it depended if you paid in cash. It would have been helpful for her to look at my chart and let me know how much mine was but I will just wait to get the bill from my insurance. I also noticed that they had my address wrong and when I let the front office know she acted like I was being stupid for bringing it to her attention. She was not very pleasant either time I went into the office. I went to Dr. Aspacio because two of my co workers had a good experience. I did not. When I told them about my experience with him they were shocked. I was very let down by the care I received from Summerlin Dermatology. I will not be going back to their office.

My first and only one appointment: Terrible! Ive never been more mistreated before!! Firstly, the receptionist tried to charge me two times the price I was supposed to pay as a co-pay! Then, I was questioned about my medical history (after I wrote everything in many papers at home...) by the nurses assistant when finally, after that this nurse came to check me. We had a pretty quick talk, that seemed that she was dispatching me, and after she left I remembered that I had one more question to ask to the doctor (who actual had never appeared!), so I told the assistant about it and she asked what was that, than she asked me to wait for the nurse again, and when the nurse came back she told me twice to "next time make sure you ask me everything before I leave the room, because I wont come back and it will be left to next appointment!" not looking into my eyes. I asked my question for the second time and it was not answered: the nurse just said that she was going to give me some samples to be used 3x/day! She didnt tell me what I had and what were those samples... Moreover, Im breastfeeding, and nobody had considered that. At least they didnt mention... When I left the room, I asked the receptionist in which moment I was going to see the doctor, and nobody could answer me that! I made an appointment to see the doctor!!! I asked many things to the nurse (who was very pregnant, by the way) that werent answered, and moreover, they tried to sell me their products no matter what!! In my opinion, I dont refer this place for anyone, just because of the lack of attention and the commerce aspect they emphasize. Im a Brazilian dentist and I am very used to the healthy care area, in general. The clinic is clean and well organized, though. Ps.: I really want my money back! Just because Ill have to spent it with another REAL dermatologist.

Rude , inefficient staff!!!! I went here as per my general physicians referral but it turned out a really bad experience. After a day my general physician faxed the referral to them, the lady medical assistant called me right away saying I needed to set up an appointment with them. I told her that I would call them back as I had to check my schedule. After a couple of days, I called them back to set up an appointment but the same lady medical assistant said that I could not set a appointment because they did not have my physicians referral letter. I told her that you just called me a couple of days ago saying you had the referral letter, so what happened. She said they just dont have it. So I called my general physician requesting them to fax the referral letter again. And so I as able to set up an appointment for today however, a day before my appointment, they were calling my husband again saying they needed a referral letter!!! It was faxed to you that was why I was able to set up the appointment, how many times do you have to lose it? So I came in today, saw Dr. Aspacio and he was not clear in explaining which he meant about "I could not do both", did he mean the procedures he was going to do or the 2 moles I consulted him about? So I asked him which one he was talking about and he answered back, "no, you are not understanding me." Of course I was not understanding you because you were not clearly explaining it. As a doctor, you should be explaining it very well and nicely. Youre the doctor, I am just a patient! I also told him about the referral letter incident and he just shrugged it off saying he will check on it. No apology, nothing that made me feel better. I have never given a bad review to any product or service but I really have to do this. Never coming back! Wont be recommending!
