I was a patient of this Dr? For nearly 15 years. Since she has been in private practice. Last month I received a letter from her stating she would no longer be able to see me as I needed long term care. Really? 15 years is not long term? The last time I saw her she called me a drug addict and said I needed to be in rehab. If this is true she contributed to this addiction as she was one of the Drs. who evaluated my symptoms for which she prescribed medications to relieve Chronic Pain as she described it to several Pharmacist as well as myself.for nearly 15 years. I brought my file from my previous Dr. when I became her patient and 3 other Drs. including Specialist who diagnosed me with some of the same symptoms of Chronic Pain. I am left to think she dismissed me because I had to stay on her office about Pre-authorization forms to my insurance as I could no longer afford my Prescriptions. She never spent a 15 minute block of time with me as is required by the insurance company she billed.. She mentioned my Hypertension twice during our 15 years along with any of the other medical issues I have . The last time I saw her in person I was shaking and she said, "Thats a sign of addiction". My blood pressure was 212 over 96 which can cause one to shake. I signed a pain contract with her and in the near 15 years I have only gone in early 3 times for my meds, Im talking 3 days early if that and the strength was increased once in 15 years along with the amount I was taking. That was after an accident I had. That injury still keeps me awake and keeps me from doing little things I use to take for granite..To be perfectly honest I am totally hurt from her dismissing me so easily. I loved her even though she was not the best Dr. I have had. To me it was easier to stay put rather than go through what I am going through now. No Dr. No Drs. are taking new patients or my insurance. They want 200 to 400 dollars a visit and another 150 dollars if they write a prescription. Is that it? Is that what quality patient care comes down to? CASH? So here it is a nutshell. Two minute visit. Stress every single monthly Drs. visit and take sample drugs that make one sicker, And talk over me so you can not hear my medical problems or concerns. Dont respect my opinion about whats wrong. I went to every single lab test, Exrays, MRIs, Specialist that my insurance would pay for. This is what I get. BOOTED. Left in the cold . The DEA is doing a BANG UP JOB. Thats who my ex Dr. blames. At least that seems to be her excuse.Rather than fighting for her patient like Dr Frank Fisher and the few others wholl tow the line for their patients. Good luck to the rest of you who are in her care.I sincerely hope this does not happen to any of her other patients. It is appalling and ludicrous. Unprofessional behavior and selfish on her part. She has done more damage than good. What happened to the Hippocratic oath? First, Do No Harm.

This doctor should seriously be put out of business. I wrote a review before, and since I have not had time to find a new doctor I went back to her after I got sick with strep throat. I figured, all i need is antibiotics and ill be good. Well I got really sick and couldnt wait for an appointment had to go to urgent care and get the antibiotics. the strep throat came back a second time and this time i did go to her. She prescribed me the same antibiotics that had just failed. Now i have strep throat for the third time. I went to urgent car again, there i got new antibiotics and the doctor was actually shocked when i told him my doctor had prescribed me the same antibiotic that had already failed. Another thing, she makes it very apparent that she does not give a crap about her patients. She is rude and does not have good people skills. She is also very judgmental. on a separate occasion I was having stomach problems and she diagnosed me with IBS but also told me that I look depressed?? Yeah, I maybe look like this because I am sick?? Just thought that was weird and rude. Do not go to her. I dont know why she is a doctor if she does not care about helping sick people.

Dr. Bokhari has been fabulous for me; she diagnosed problems that my previous doctor had overlooked/ignored for years. Shes very supportive of testing to get to the bottom of any concerns, and I really appreciate that she takes my concerns seriously. Shes also very obviously intelligent and expert in her profession, as a board certified internist. I like her as a person, and would recommend her to friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bokhari for around 10 years now. She is a wonderful Dr., very caring and always willing to help you find out what might be going on. That said, each person has to be their own advocate! If the Dx isnt right, research again. Thats how it is in this world today. Good luck~!
