Dont ever go there! worst place ever! They will do everything thing they can to as much money out of you as possible! Called to schedule an appointment for my son and the receptionist collected all my insurance information including my SS#. When my son went to the appointment they charged him $275 for a filling and wanted to charge him $80 for a cleaning. That raised a red flag right away cause with my insurance coverage we get 2 free cleanings a year. I then went onto my insurance companys website and luckily I was able to print out my benefits and how much some of the services are depending on what code they are billing for. I went into the office myself and spoke with Marina who told me that they were billing for D2393 and that my out of pocket cost was 275 dollars. I then pulled out the paper of my benefits and seen that my cost was only $75 and when I showed her the paperwork she got really nervous and said " Oh we have the wrong insurance listed for you"and said that there was also an other code that they were billing for that my insurance didnt cover and that was another 75 dollars. I figured okay it was a simple mistake and made another appointment for my son to get another filling for another tooth and a cleaning that was ordered by the orthodontist so my son can have braces placed. The day before a receptionist calls again to insurance information ( they should have had that information from the last visit) My son goes to his appointment and I decided to check in on him and asked him via text if they were going to clean his teeth and he responded no another appointment needed to be made for that. I then called my mother and asked her to please tell them that the appointment was not only for the other filling but also for a cleaning. I also asked her to please get me something that had the codes that were going to be used for billing. When I got home from work I looked at the "treatment plan" and seen only one code on there for billing, the same code that was used last time that was only $75. So I called again and spoke to a receptionist and asked her what code was being used for billing. She gave me the same code that was used the last time. I then asked her is the the only code you guys are billing for and answered "yes" I then said okay then you guys need to refund me some money cause I was charged $ 140 she then placed me on hold and when she came back she said " oh no we also used a different code and that was not covered and that was 75 dollars" I then told her that on the treatment plan it only had one code for billing and she has the stupidity to say "well you can come it and I can give you a receipt that has both codes on there" I said no both codes should have been on there to begin with and plus the last I knew 75 + 75 =150 so you guys are liars and I am turning you guys in!

I have been coming to this dental office for six years. I have had checkups, cleanings, root canals, Invisalign, and most recently, my first ever extraction. The ladies at the reception desk are friendly and professional. Theyre very knowledgeable about my insurance, what it covers and what it doesnt. Everything is explained to me clearly, including cost and alternative treatments if the first suggested treatment is a bit pricey. The office is beautiful. Ive never been offered free beverages at a dental office before. In the examination rooms, they even offer pillows and blankets (it can get a bit chilly). Lee, the hygienist...what a pro. Hes the greatest...quick, thorough, and gentle. As for Dr. Castro, well, all I can say is shes an angel of mercy. My best root canal experiences have been in her capable hands. (She wont advertise this, because shes too humble, but she was a **top** dentist in another country before coming here.) Im so glad that when I recently needed an extraction, Dr. Castro was the one to perform it. She was understanding about my apprehension and was so gentle and kind about it. Im not exactly a wimp, but I was stressed out that day. Dr. Castro relieved that stress with her stellar chairside manner and her expert skill. I just cant say enough good things, and I hope I never have to go anywhere else!

I have been going to Dr. Steeles practice in Placerville for about 8 years so when I moved to Sacramento, transitioning to his Sacramento Dentistry Group facility made complete sense. I have always received excellent care. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment (and Im there 3-4x a year) and Ive always been treated professionally and kindly by Dr. Steele, the other dentists, and his staff. The Sacramento office is like the Placerville office: it is staffed with experienced professionals who use state-of-the-art dental procedures with current equipment. The office staff and hygienists at both locations are kind, efficient, and skilled. The Sacramento office is in an easy to get to location, too, with parking either right out front or right nearby. I was happy to see it is not in the heart of downtown so it doesnt have the traffic or parking problems of downtown.

This is a great dental office. Dr. Castro is a very lively, and lovely dentist who cared about my experience. She was very thorough and really cared about my dental health. The staff did a really solid job of taking care of my needs and questions and did their best to make me feel comfortable with my treatment. I recommend this place if you are in need of oral health care and want to take care of it!

Excellent experience. Dr. Castro does top-notch work and doesnt push me to have unnecessary work done. She and her staff are wonderful about answering my pesky questions :) and she always makes sure I feel good about having whatever procedure done. I never feel rushed or pushed. Best of all, my teeth are looking nicer now than they have in a very, very long time.
