Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016, I was taken to ER by ambulance after being in bad motorcycle accident near Carmel Valley. I was the passenger, my friend driving the motorcycle was airlifted as his injuries were much worse:-(. My injuries were possible broken or fractured pelvic or tailbone & hand/wrist & who knows what else since we were both flew off the motorcycle & skidding pavement. It was a single motorcycle crash, NO drugs or alcohol involved!! I was in horrific pain & trams, my great friend next to me in dire straights, just threw off motircycle~they had a hard time getting an IV (normal did me). I had to pee, gave me pan, but it went everywhere, never cleaned me up or helped me~have no use of my right hand due to pain. They finally gave me one shot for pain, probably 1 hr later. After xrays, contrast ct & second pain shot ~ no broken bones~ but I was in so much pain!! Dr never explained my injuries. Last nurse especially said to just get dressed! Offered no help, I had boots could not even move due to my bruised pelvic/tailbone, right hand. I just sat there & cried & refused to get dressed without help, she reluctantly helped putting on my boots without my socks, pulling on my underpants that had been down around my knees the whole time because no one helped me pull them up or gave me anything to wipe myself after I peed. It was 9 pm I live in Santa Cruz this hospital is in salinas, Im single, I had to make arrangements for someone to pick me up, she didnt care at all! Admin person standing outside my curtain just waiting for me to sign papers. I had to walk to bathroom by myself & could barely do that. I hurt so bad but nurse said I needed to just get out of bed & wait for my ride in waiting room~ very hard chairs! I was crying & she had the gall to ask what the problem was!! My best friend is a nurse in Santa Cruz & said this is inhumane treatment!!

Worst hospital Ive ever been to Doctors are either incompetent or dont care Went in to the emergency room and the doctor mocked me and implied I wasnt sick. She sent me home and the next day it turned it I had a hole in my lung! Complete idiots. 8 years preparing for the job only to be still completely clueless. Every other time ive been there Ive had similar experiences. They just dont care, and its sad. Many people rely on this place and its unfortunate that the doctors here are mostly arrogant, and careless. These guys are strictly in it for the money. Then they act as if theyre under paid. Truly a disappointment. Go to memorial if you have the choice.

My sister was admitted to the hospital and no one called a single member of her family. Do not take patients in need of mental health to this faciltiy. Run as far as you can. All they care about is drugging up your loved one, they dont offer alternatives and if you complain, they will commit you and take your rights away. My sister asked for a court hearing to contest her commitment and they refused to follow the law. Now we have to get attorneys involved. I hope this hopsital loses their funding and I will do what I can to see that happens or changes are made in accordance with the law.

Horrible horrible emergency room. Looks like a 3rd world triage setup. Waiting room is filthy. Walls and floors. Doctor/patient time is non existent. General all around care was as bad as the surroundings. I am still in shock that anything that operates this poorly can possibly be in charge of the emergency care of anyone. The care and attentiveness in my Vetinarians office far exceeds anything that took place at Natividad emergency room. And they take your possessions when you enter the emergency room and loose them and they are never returned.

One reason why as to why i dont want any of my family here when something happens is because my aunt, who is in critical condition might i add, had nurses that didnt even want to change her and ONE nurse was the only one that put in effort to help her and make sure she wasnt soiled and thats she watched over good. As for the other nurses, youre paid to do this, you wouldnt want your loved one laying down soaked and to say you didnt want to well karma!!!! You wonder why this hospital has poor rating

The service is not good at all patients wait so long till they get called in they clam that appointments are at the time they give them to you but end up waiting hours till they end up calling you over all poor service majority of the staff do nothing to help the patients. There attitude and the way the staff treats the patients need to change majority just ignore you and honestly need to get off there phones!!! This is a place of professional services not to be using your phones on duty.

I came here last week to be treated for a bad caugh all they did was give me an inhaler and sent me on my way. I felt that they didnt take my symtoms seriously. Now im back my caugh is way worse i cant speak. And ive been waiting for hours for a room. Im contemplating leaving. It feels like they have forgotten about me. Worst hospital on the central coast.

It was horrible. They ask you for your work insurance or medical to leave you in the hall room and charge your benefit the same amount. They dont care about the patience. I was having a high blood pleasure and all they said was " you have 3 in front of you we will be with you shortly"

Almost waited 12 Hours to get attended by a doctor because they did not have a room available, but I saw that when a room was available they will bring another patient. Really bad experience with this hospital.

The person on the phone was snobby and condescending. She ultimately just hung up on me rather than helping me. Ridiculous that she works there she should be fired.

If your going to the ER go to MEMORIAL. And If you live closer to Natividad just suck it up for a few more minutes and just go to MEMORIAL trust me.

My grandson was born a month early and in distress. With the help of the Neo Natal ICU he has really improved. The nurses are loving and caring.
