"I was in so much pain. I live in Lebanon and that is when I figured out that I have two herniated discs and numbness in my left leg. I couldnt walk or anything. I had gone to the doctor and he told me I would most likely need to get surgery for this issue. When I came to visit my daughters in California two weeks ago, my daughter told me to go see Dr. Rivera. I have been to Dr. Rivera before but I was scared to get more hurt because the pain was so bad. After one visit with Dr. Rivera my back was a little better and now it has been two weeks and 5 visits with Dr. Rivera I am 60% better. I also tried acupuncture today, which helped that much more as well. Dr. Rivera was so gentle, and listened to what I needed and what I wanted. His advice helped me realize that surgery is not the answer for this issue. I am headed back to Lebanon in a few days, but I feel great. I will be coming back to see Dr. Rivera when I come back to visit. What I thought was going to be a pain that will last a long time, has gotten that much better in such a short amount of time. If I was staying longer, I would have continued treatment with Dr. Rivera. I know he would have relieved my pain much more. Thank you to the wonderful staff and for Dr. Rivera for helping me. If you’re in need of an awesome, highly intelligent Chiropractor who actually knows what he’s doing plus takes the time to listen to what is hurting and or bothering you than I say Matthew Rivera, DC is your man! I have been a patient of Dr. Rivera’s for over 20 yrs. and he has seen me through several car accidents, sports, dance and work injuries which if it hadnt been for him I would probably be in a lot worse shape. He took the time to listen to my concerns. Where I said I was really hurting and when I was worried and had questions upon questions, he took the time to let me know he really cared about me as a person, and reassured me I was going to be okay. He actually listened and answered every question. Dr. Rivera truly cares about his patients as individuals and will tailor a care regiment geared towards you getting better whether it’s from any type of accident, injury or if you’re in need of general maintenance that only chiropractic can take care of. His staff is professional, kind and will also go out of their way to assist you in any questions regarding your insurance, Dr. visits or a billing statement regarding your balance. I would highly recommend Dr. Rivera to anyone because he is the best in the bay area hands down! Chiropractic cant get any better than this!!

Having come from a Physical Therapy background, I had my doubts but after my horrific head collision 3 years ago, I felt lucky to "injured free" but then I found myself with some sever neck pain about 60 days after the accident. Dr. Riveras team treated me for about 4 months. The office was super sensative to my financial challenge and insurance issues and most importantly, Dr. Rivera took care of my pain. Since then, my husband and three children have been treated by him for various reasons. One time my son was getting ready for his Catholic entrance exam and his neck was in full blown spasms. Dr Rivera treated him right away and my son was able to take the test pain free. Yesterday, my daughter,who plays high level VB,was complaining of an aching middle back. Knowing we have tryouts soon, we were able to drive straight to the offfice and she was tx promptly. They have taken such good care of me and my family and I am so thankful for how much they care about their patients. I truly believe they are more about helping you heal than making money.

Ive been going to Matt Rivera for over six months. I really appreciate his attentiveness and easy disposition. He truly cares about his patients. I work on my computer a lot which strains my neck and shoulders. I was unable to loosen those muscles even via deep tissue massages. Ive had this chronic condition for years. I began to feel relief after one or two appointments with Matt. He recently introduced me to Cold Laser Therapy. Its what pro athletes use to help their bodies recover faster. It is amazing for reducing and eliminating muscle tightness. Ive found the combination of cold laser along with an adjustment from Matt as the perfect remedy whenever my body is out of alignment. Matt Rivera and his staff foster a friendly, no pressure environment. I schedule appointments as I need them. Dr. Rivera is the best chiropracter ever! Do not hesitate to get a treatment from him. His clients included Arnold Swarzenegger, and he sees many of the 49ers, professional bodybuilders and other professional athletes. I went to a few chiropracters in the area in the past and either they were too rough or did not know what they were doing. Dr. Rivera is so good at what he does and he is such a kind hearted and wonderful person. He loves what he does for people and it shows. Icing on the cake: when you are waiting in the treatment room another chiropracter will come in and massage you...this leaves you relaxed when Dr. Rivera arrives. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for him after walking through the front door.

We first started to go to Matt for my daughter as she was having knees and shoulder problems probably due to too much volleyball. Matt worked on her and found that her hips were very offset. After a few times with Matt, my daughter started to feel like a million bucks! I was so happy with the results, I started to see him too to fix my tennis elbow and lower back. After a few times with Matt, my back was so much better. I was very hesitant to try the laser for my elbow but I was in so much pain after trying all sorts of other methods of physical therapy. I tried the laser for the tennis elbow and after the 2nd time, I started to feel relief and after about the 4th or 5th time, I was 98% better! It really works!

Dr. Husbands is one of the most intelligent doctors Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting, let alone working with. If you have ANY medical concern I highly recommend making him or any other highly credible functional medicine doctor your PRIMARY CARE physician. The approach that he takes as a functional medicine doctor genuinely gets to the true "root" cause of your issue and works with you in the most healthy way possible to reverse any damages. Another great thing with his care is that if certain damage has been done and you have the money to spend, you literally have an entire building dedicated to excellent chiropractic care. I will be referring my family to this clinic even though we live hours away
