Theyre friendly and my hygienist was gentle but their approach was more reactive than pro-active. I went in originally because I was told my filling would be done in a clean sterile room. The open space I was at felt anything but sterile. The whole time I heard the room next door with the speaker phone on saying "please wait for your next representative" That was not a good feeling. Then afterwards I had continual pain and went back. They filed it at first and took a blurry shot. I even asked for a second picture but they would not take one. Its a digital x-ray, come on. Im going to call them tomorrow because my mouth has been throbbing hurting all week. If I need a root canal Im expecting them to cover a large portion since it was their fault for making the environment so uncomfortable and causing so much pain when there was none before. This is my last chance to them only because my hygienist was so gentle. .. Updated review. Dr. Askari explained things very well and confidently. It makes the upcoming root canal procedure easier. Also added a star because they were able to fit me in within 24 hours. (Whew 1 1/2 weeks at lvl 12 pain was too much) And was very concise in a timetable of upcoming events. .Will update after procedure complete... ------------------------------------------------------ Update: Went in for part 1 of my root canal. Dr. Askari was very fast and competent. He performed the root canal easily. The pain went away. Then to wait for 3 days to do a fitting for my cap. --Came in for my second part of my root canal and once again was well taken care of by Dr. Askari. He handled things very smoothly and once again skillfully. Though after he left, while his assistants were working on my mouth, they were talking about their personal matters at the same time. I didnt like feeling like a water cooler. ---Third and final part of my root canal. Finally feeling good and pain free for a week I was a bit apprehensive about the opening being re-exposed. Dr. Askari came in once again and was completely professional and helpful in alleviating my worries. He finished quickly and I have been feeling good since....... Overall I feel very comfortable going to see Dr. Askari and Comfort Dental again. I have a clean up scheduled. After one year I will update this review and rating. Based on the facilities and skill level of the staff I would be very happy to continue using them.

I definitely would not recommend this establishment. I am not sure how they are getting almost 5 stars... I suspect it is an inside job as most of the reviewers are from the same ethnic background as the lead dentist there. Here is my story: My father, who is an 88 year old recovering stroke patient was assigned to this office based on his insurance, Delta Dental. I am the primary caretaker for my father so while working a full time job, I also manage his health needs. I took my father to this office and at first glance everything was good. I got an appointment and I hauled my dad there, there was good parking, easy access, etc. And the office space looked nice and clean. That is the lost positive thing I have to say about this establishment and Dr. Askari. My dad (and me, as his caretaker) got nothing but the run-around and incompetent and incomplete advice from this office. Every time we went there, nothing was done an finalized. And each time, wed have a different junior doctor assigned to "take care of us." We remained patient, despite the difficulty for my father to get out the house and go there to deal with his achy mouth. Finally, after several rounds and a complete set of x-rays they took, we got a referral to someone else and, a few days later, got a letter from Delta Dental informing us that Dr. Askari had essentially fired my dad as a patient. There are lots of good doctors out there. Find yourself one. This one is not one of them! And dont waste your time, like we did. Good luck!

I was referred to Comfort Dental from my room mate. As I walked into Comfort Dental for a check up cleaning and was told that yes, even my severe front crossbite was treatable with invisalign. That day, Dr. Askari told me that he could change my life, and he wasnt lying. Thus, I had one goal - straight teeth for my wedding in a year- but I got so much more. The team at Comfort dental worked together to perfect my smile...several trays, some bonding and a bit of whitening later and I was literally a completely different person (the price for all this is not as much as I was quoted for metal brackets at an orthodontic specialist, which he said clear braces wont work for my case) so I gave up, never thought I would look for braces again. After 11 months of invisalign treatment from Dr. Askari I never realized that before now, I avoided laughing or smiling....now I cant stop! My pictures look great and I have so much more confidence. Sure if youre like me, you skipped braces as a kid but you really needed them. There were many dentists out there, but Dr. Askari is truly unique and a leader in the field. Dr Askari and his hygienist actually care, and the receptionists is a joy too! You have to go here if you needed to have quality cleanning, or if you have to do invisalign do ask for Dr. Askari if you need braces. And YES, there is no-interest for monthly payments!

Ive been here for 8 years now and finally found them on google places so I decide to give Dr. Askaris office a 5 stars review because they really deserved it. I had so many many cleaning done with this office but I had to say this time is the best! Their Hygienists are excellent especially Nazanin. If you are one of those scared of dentist, u should come here. Dr. Askari did the best root canal and perfect crowns, it does take a lot of time in the chairs but just think about quality. My 2 crowns look so real that I couldnt even tell, my sister had Invisalign done and its amazing result. Some dentists she had consulted before said she has to do jaw surgery in order to get her teeth straight but Dr. Askari did his magic to have her beautiful smile without jaw surgery. I highly recommend this office if you need root canal or crowns as well as Invisalign!!!

Went in for an extraction. Left in agony!!! Yeah, like most, I cant stand the dentist. But I had no choice. After the procedure I was given 3 prescriptions. The one that mattered, I was unable to fill thanks to the dr not filling out the scrip correctly. I had to go over 24 hours before they finally had me go all the way back to the dentist office to get a new scrip, then all the way back to Kaiser to fill it. I would call that negligence. I try not to sweat the small stuff, but this was not "small pain"!! Ill NEVER go there again!
