I rolled or sprained or broke my ankle, Im not sure because the radiologist was too busy to respond. So the doctor that I spoke to for 30 seconds who ask about the incident but nothing else, decided I should go home and take some ibuprofen. I am medical student, and the daughter of 2 former sutter health employees... if all I needed was RICE (Rest Ice Compression Elevation)s I would have done accordingly, since not only from textbooks but a frequent injury have i learned the technique and procedure (amongst the experience in the field) not only was I denied pain relievers but I was dismissed without a real professionals opinion. I was given a note for work which gave me 3 days of absence . 1 DAY for the time I spent in urgent care, one night without sleep, taking prescribed anti-inflammatory, 1 day of fighting with myself trying to stand and walk. And the 3rd day to be independent.. I should be returning to work today, according to the dr. But I cant walk without a limp, I need to rest after 10 feet of limping. The Dr didnt even ask what I do for work.. Im on my feet 8 hrs a day, lifting boxes I never thought I had the strength for.. My doctor read from a script, Never looked me in the eyes, Only saw a young white girl looking for drugs... But day 4 I still cant walk to the end of my driveway, day 4 of me stressing about how Ill pay rent , Day 4 of the days I could work but am disabled to and day 4 of asking others to bring me food and water. This is the staff is expected at Kaiser. My years of loyalty have been for shaken I grew up relying on sutter and trusting them for the help when I need it I have never felt so alone and abandoned. The medical field should be full of compassionate people, the people who want Will hold your hand, But its left with the greedy and the miserable who need help them selves and are not qualified to care I was born and treated throughout my life at Mills Peninsula but now I must let go.. Youre urgent care doctors are nothing but WebMD narrated by idiots.

Came here with my wife on a Thursday afternoon without an appointment and was quickly checked in to be seated in the waiting area. Someone called my wife after a short wait of less than 5 minutes. That someone took my wifes vitals quickly and put my wife in a room to wait for the doctor. I then exited to wait back in the waiting room. While seated in the waiting room, the other patients and I were treated to the loud banter between the receptionists behind the counter talking about different flavors of cake and frostings while they were obviously surfing the net at work. "Do you like red velvet?! Whats chocolate ganache?!" Would have been nice if the receptionists whispered and kept their conversation to themselves.

The nurses, wait staff and reception desk staff were extremely rude at this center. They dont care about patients, probably because theyre busy enough that it doesnt matter. They made us wait for 2 hours to get x-ray results without informing us that the radiologist wasnt available that night. We waited till 10 pm and were finally sent back without the results. When asked about the status, they would give us meaningless, curt responses. The doctor spends less than 2 minutes, but the whole staff acts as if were bothering them by coming to urgent care. Never going back there again.

Honestly, I went the day after Thanksgiving at like 11am. I waited over 2 hours. I was given an antibiotic, which was fine. I was mostly concerned if the medication would be safe since Im pregnant, so the NP checked on everything. She was nice. Aside from the wait, the care wasnt bad. I got the help I needed but Im surprised that by the time I left, the wait was 3 hours..

Doctor spent 2 minutes or less talking to me and prescribed an antibiotic without checking whether it was covered by my health insurance plan. I called back 20 minutes later to have them change the prescription but by that time, the doctor was gone and they couldnt change the prescription. T
