WARNING...WARNING...WARNING...WARNING...WARNING... DO NOT TRUST THIS VET, THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. Took my dog in for extensive oral surgery and my dog did well. 09/30/15 - I paid $794.90 in full with my Care Credit Account. 10/01/15 - I reviewed the invoice and noticed I was OVERCHARGED $49.00, a DUPLICATE HEALTH EXAM charge that day and called to have it reversed. 10/01/15 - $127.06 was CHARGED AGAINST MY CARE CREDIT ACCOUNT for SERVICES I DID NOT RECEIVE, and a VISIT I NEVER MADE. I requested an explanation, the charge credited against my account, and a copy of both signed charge slips. Someone at the Animal Hospital RAN ANOTHER CUSTOMERS CHARGES for the 10/01/15 visit AGAINST MY CARE CREDIT ACCOUNT when they SHOULD HAVE RAN IT AGAINST that CUSTOMERS MASTERCARD ACCOUNT that they keep on file. (I was told.) HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? THE OFFICE DOES NOT HAVE, NOR DO THEY KEEP MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER ON FILE. I HAD TO PROVIDE MY NUMBER EACH TIME FOR THE TWO SEPARATE CREDITS THEY ISSUED TO REIMBURSE ME. WTF. What is DISTURBING to me is that not only did they RUN THE WRONG CUSTOMER, WRONG CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND TYPE OF CREDIT CARD, someone also FORGED MY SIGNATURE ON THE CREDIT CHARGE SLIP they provided me a copy of. WTF....... SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG! While they credited my account with both the $49.00 and the $127.06 charges, THEY WERE NOT VERY CONCERNED, NOR COULD THEY EXPLAIN how this error happened AND TRIED TO WRITE IT OFF AS A SIMPLE ACCIDENT. SURE, EVERYBODYS SIGNATURE GETS FORGED FROM TIME TO TIME, NO BIGGIE..... CUSTOMERS ARE STUPID, AND WILL PROBABLY NEVER NOTICE. CHECK YOUR INVOICE CAREFULLY AND CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS IF YOU CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS..... DELIBERATELY FORGING MY NAME/SIGNATURE ON A CREDIT CARD SLIP FOR A VISIT I NEVER MADE AND SERVICES I NEVER RECEIVED IS FRAUD. And trust me it was NOT an ACCIDENT. WARNING...WARNING...WARNING...WARNING...WARNING... THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS! CAREFULLY CHECK YOUR INVOICES AND CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS.

They have been my vet since I moved to the North Bay. They will tell you the truth about whether something can be done for your furbaby or whether its time to say goodbye. And they will do whatever they can. Alaric died at 21, Morgan died at 20, and Tamurlain died at 15. When Alaric had a stroke, they thought it was best that he be put to sleep, but they did say that sometimes a cat will recover, even though he was paralyzed on one side. I couldnt bear to say goodbye to him, so I took him home, and he did seem to be getting better, but three weeks later he had another stroke and died. Not their fault and he was 21 years old. Jamethiel has a very rare condition and will require meds the rest of her life. Dr. Nicole diagnosed her as having hypoparathyroidism. Since they dont have intensive care facilities, she sent me to Pet Care, who agreed with Dr. Nicoles diagnosis. Because the condition is so rare, they sent lab samples to the University of Michigan Veterinary School and the diagnosis was confirmed. Dr. Nicole told me that she had actually never seen a case of it, and that it was so rare, she doubted anyone at Pet Care had actually seen it, either. But they made the correct diagnosis. Jamethiel will be on meds the rest of her life, but shes alive, healthy and full of mischief. And if she hadnt been properly diagnosed, she would be dead. These are really, really good vets.

Since I as a kid this has been where my animals go. Theyve spayed an neutered oodles of our cats, and helped us say goodbye sometimes too.Last October, our cat Sassy was sick. It turned out to be cancer and we lost her very quickly. The whole office was very helpful while we had questions regarding our care, and even called me back while I was working so I could discuss things with them.... All very worry-wart questions. We had to say goodbye to our momcat on October 9th, after only a couple months of dealing with her illness. They didnt charge us for the euthanasia. They helped everything go as smoothly as possible, and we even got a little bunch of flowers from them (which we left with Sassy) and they gave us a clay pawprint for us to bake off. They sent her to their cremation person, someone local, and we got her ashes back in a simple box with flowers carved into it and ribbon tied around it. A while after we got a condolences card signed by the entire staff. We believe Sassy got the best care she could have. Since then Foodbar has gotten his teeth cleaned there and today our doggy is getting his microchip! As long as they stay as caring as they are I can say that I will take all of my animals there.

Although it was under sad circumstances me and my friend had excellent care. My cat was elderly and very ill and I took her in to have her examined and it was determined that her body was no longer keeping up with her and we had to make the unfortunate and heart breaking decision to help her move on. The doctor and staff were extremely kind and helped me every step of the way. It was a rough day for me an my little family but we had received so much love and tender care from the staff. I had also decided to have Beanie (My cat) cremated and when her ashes were returned to me I was surprised by the lovely little box they had been returned to me in. I was expecting a baggie inside a cardboard box but this was such a lovely gift that literally brought me to tears. I want to thank the staff of the animal hospital of Sebastopol for such wonderful care and kindness. I will definitely go no where else in the future for the care of my four legged loved ones.

I live in San Francisco. I go all the way up to Sebastopol because I think they are the best. I trust leaving my babies overnight with them. I know they are being taking care of. I tried several clinics in San Francisco. I do not trust any of them like I trust Animal Hospital of Sebastopol. My mom had her cats treated at AHOS becasue she lived in Sebastopol. When my mom passed away. I took her cats and ever since I have been taken her and my babies to them. They are knowledgeable, caring, efficient and reasonable priced.

These people are not to be trusted. Months after paying for my pets checkup in cash, I received a notice from a collection agency claiming that I never paid. The vet claimed they had no record of the transaction, the receptionist who took my payment conveniently no longer worked there and was not available for questioning. Ive since taken my business to the Laguna vet down nearby and couldnt be happier. Bottom line is these people are thieves.

I love these vets and their staff. They take the greatest care with both of my pets. I rescued a little border collie mix that bit people in the beginning, and we have built such a rapport of trust and love with their vets, that Dr. Gwen was actually able to do an exam without anesthesia to look up his nose for fox tails. They are very fair in their pricing of services, incredibly compassionate, and just great people!!!!!
