Very disappointed!! I took my puppy here, when I first got her for shots and exam, I was happy with the Dr. very loving and caring. Seven months later, I had to bring her in for a ear infection. A new Dr. not anything like the first Dr. I was given the wrong, written directions and treated like a child. I didnt realize this until the follow up visit, 2 weeks later. I was not happy. I was charged an outrageous price of $200.00. Then I found out she needed 4 baby canine teeth extracted. I asked for a quote to have her spayed and have her teeth done. I got a written quote with a range between $300 and $700 and something. I called back and said I just wanted to have her teeth done and got a quote of $500. and something? Then I received a written quote in the mail in the amount of $300 to $900.00 and something. Are you kidding me?? 3 different price quotes that went higher each time and with a huge price range. I decided to call around and I got a hold of a local place that has been there forever and they gave me a quote over the phone of $17.00 per tooth plus $100 for the anesthetic. I asked if there were any other charges and they said no. I was thinking, how can this be? I was very concerned about the care my baby was about to receive. She had her teeth pulled and the girl cut her nails and they examined her and found out she has a heart murmur. Something I was not told? I paid $168.00 total. Just what I was quoted. She was held and loved and cared for. I am so glad I shopped around. We all love are precious animals like they are our children and want the best for them. Just that most of us cant afford to go bankrupt in the process to pay for these fancy shmancy animal hospitals.

My son scheduled an appointment for 9:00pm, which I thought was odd. He asked about coming in right away and was told the difference in price between an emergency visit and an appointment. I checked the hours, normal business hours were till 10:00. Okay great, first thing they said to my son when he walked in the door that this was an emergency visit. I almost lost my mind. My son has been torn between coming in five hours earlier, but choose to make an appointment since he was paying for it. I argued my case at the front desk to no avail, they didnt make the policy. Anyway, I was eventually told the doctor could reverse the charge. About 15 minutes later I was told there was a mistake in communication from the front desk and we would be charged as normal. Im still upset, since had my son gone by himself he surely would have been charged more. They tried to blame him for not leaving a phone number so they could call and tell him before he got there. Really, just so I have the facts straight make an appointment to come in for emergency care? The doctor did comp some of the care, which I thought was nice, but ultimately felt like they would take advantage of someone bringing a loved pet in and say yes to any additional cost. If you are wondering this is for my sons bearded dragon. He was trying to do the right thing, hard lesson since he could have bought two or three of them for the price of this visit. We still dont know if its going to live.

Im actually surprised by the number of good reviews on here. This place just tries to gouge people for as much as they can. The front desk gals were super friendly but the absurd prices will never have me returning. Nearly $60 for an office visit on top of everything else!? $60 to weigh my dog and take his temp? What a joke. Then to tell me that its going to cost at least $900 but up to $1150 to remove a benign growth on my dogs eyelid. After the $150 or so to do the blood test to make sure hes healthy enough to undergo surgery. Um, no. Its completely aesthetic and doesnt even bother him. The vet gave me the breakdown of cost and I was surprised to see that they charge by the minute of the surgery, not the surgery itself. $30 for saline solution? Does anyone look at these breakdowns they give and actually think, "oh, yes. Very reasonable". This place charges as much for this unnecessary surgery as my old vet did for an acl surgery on my other dog. An actual surgery. Too bad you cant take the good ones with you when you move. The facility was clean, staff were nice, but the pricing is out of control. Ill be looking elsewhere.

We had to take our bunny in that we had for a short time of two days due to her falling over and spams. Dr. Beagely was very understanding and polite. After having x-rays done we found out somehow our bunny broke her back in a much higher place than the normally see when bunnies break their backs. Unfortunately we had to put our bunny down since her diagnosis was not a good outlook I am glad that I chose to do the x-rays. I had rather known it was something she would be able to recover from or not and than just taking her home and finding out she past. She was in a lot of pain we can tell with her breathing and little noises. So we thought if best to put her down so she didnt suffer anymore. The staff there was awesome as well Im sorry that we didnt get the name of the Front room receptionist. Chrissy the vet assistant was wonderful too. I am so grateful for the staff and they even gave us her paw-print as a keepsake to take home. We will be definitely back when we get a smaller animal for checkups.

Brought in two roosters to be checked over. The vet barely handled or looked at them. I had to ask her several times to check their throats, check their feathers, check their feet. She misdiagnosed a simple parasite for another illness which anyone who knows how to treat chickens would have been able to tell me that they do not have Scaly Leg Mites as the vet claimed. She tried to make me feel bad for saving the too Roosters who were dumped by their owners in a State Park saying that I dont know what Im getting myself into that that Im endangering the other Chickens in our care. The vets do not care about chickens. We were charged $200 for a visit where we later at home had to find the mite infestation that was misdiagnosed ourselves by checking between the feathers by their vents. Terrible experience. Overcharged. Misdiagnosed. Made to feel bad about rescuing animals. Left to go home and treat our own bird. Will NEVER return.

Took our dog there that had ingested a rock. Vet said X-rays showed the rock was in her colon and should pass. This X-ray was not read by a radiologist. She still didnt pass I requested a new X-ray to be read by a radiologist from advice by my nephew who is a vet in Oregon. The rock hadnt moved and still in the small intestine. Surgery was scheduled at 4PM. The vet called us at 4PM saying they didnt have enough oxygen to complete the procedure. We were referred to another vet in Tacoma. We drove her there and were greeted by a wonderful staff. She was operated on that evening. By then the rock had moved to the colon. The surgeon palpated it out with minimum surgery. Bottom line, have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner. How an emergency vet center can lack oxygen is beyond me. Though totally frustrating Im happy with the results. Will be dusting off the old law books
