The entire staff at Genesis was compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. I had a terrifying injury to the nerve in my left arm that left it completely numb with no motor function, (I couldnt even pick up a soda can), and a fairly poor prognosis. At best, I was facing a long treatment time. I was always greeted cheerfully by Kim in the front, with my chart ready to go. I was evaluated by Katie who designed the treatment/exercise program.She was knowledgeable and explained everything. She gave special treatment and care at each visit. Then the staff, Barrett and Rodney, followed through with those treatments and exercises. These often lasted over and hour. I was also given customized exercises for home. When I hit a frustrating plateau with improvement, the staff found additional treatments until improvement continued. They have a very nice, fully equipped facility. My arm is now fully recovered thanks to their patience and hard work. Thank you Genesis. I would recommend to anyone.

I have only wonderful things to say about Genesis Physical Therapy! I began seeing the therapists at Genesis after my therapy had stalled at another local Simi Valley therapy center. Within two weeks, I had movement in my hip joint that my other therapy center wasnt able to achieve. Ive seen both Pilar and Julie. Pilar is an excellent, holistic, outside-of-the-box thinker that is hard to find in the physical therapy profession. She is excellent at finding the source of the problem and helping to fix it. Julie is outstanding as well. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that my whole body is feeling better when I leave. She always listens to my concerns and addresses each one. I also appreciate all of the PT assistants. They are helpful without being pushy. They are very attentive to my needs. If you are wondering if this is the place for you... it is! They will help you tremendously... even if other therapy centers or therapy modalities have failed for you.

Genesis PT is truly a remarkable place. Where do I start? Achilles tendon rupture in 2005. Lower-leg stress fracture in 2007. And my latest triumph; mild-to-moderate disk degeneration in thoracic and lumbar spine with beginning stages of scoliosis (jealous yet?). Genesis was there for me through each injury and got me back up to speed quickly. The owner, Pilar is amazing and went way above and beyond the call! Their staff is great and the facility is hands down the most modern PT practice I have seen. You will not be disappointed with your experience. And if Brenton is around (Pilar’s husband), you may be able to convince him to make you a homemade latte. He is quite the barista! Thanks Genesis – you guys Rock!

I highly recommend Genesis Physical Therapy! My wife had a total knee reconstruction surgery in March and she initially went to a different physical therapist, who shall remain unnamed. After several weeks at "the other guy" she made limited progress. Luckily her doctor recommended Genesis and after her first week my wife made more gains with Genesis than 3 weeks at the other place. I am so happy we found out about Genesis. Not only were they able to get my wife back upright and walking, but their friendly staff and professional manner made the entire process an absolute delight. If you need a physical therapist, you MUST call Genesis. You wont be disappointed!!!!

Genesis Physical Therapy was a Godsend. I had to have a Total Knee Reconstructive surgery 10 weeks after having my first baby. I went to a physical therapist out of convenience close to where I lived. WHAT A MISTAKE. I was seeing this guy for 3 weeks and made no progress. My Doctor recommended Genesis Physical Therapy in Simi Valley. It was a drive for me, but at the first visit with Genesis I made more progress than with the other therapist. Not only did they help me physically, but their staff is so welcoming and positive that it turned what started out as a terrible experience into a great one. I highly recommend EVERYONE go to Genesis.

The staff and therapists at Genesis PT are FANTASTIC! Over the last year and a half I went through 2 back surgeries to correct a herniated disk which caused damage to my sciatic nerve. Barely able to walk after the second surgery, the team at Genesis worked diligently with me to literally get me back on my feet! I am now walking 3-5 miles a day, have lost 40 lbs, and am in better shape then I was 10 years ago! I continue to work out at Genesis PT 4-5 a week as part of their Independent Exercise Program (IEP) and feel like I am part of the family. Thank you Genesis, I couldnt have gotten this far without you!!!

Awesome staff & facility. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It has been very encouraging to be in a comfortable environment where each staff member genuinely cares for you and wants to help you progress to full health. I have asked many questions about my "issues" throughout my physical therapy experience and always received a thorough explanation that helped me to understand my problem, the therapy options to help fix it, and the process toward getting to my goal of being pain free. I highly recommend Genesis for PT. They are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Several years ago, I injured my knee and was told I would need surgery. After going to Genesis for a month or so, my doctor agreed that I no longer needed surgery. So, when I fell and injured the same knee recently, I immediately made an appointment at Genesis, and from all accounts, it looks like I will dodge the surgery bullet again! Thank you to Pilar and crew - you are all amazing.

There arent enough stars to tell you how amazing this place is!! Not only do they have the most friendly and knowledgeable staff, but their facility and equipment is top of the line. In addition, they always run on time and truly make you feel like you are getting the appropriate amount of care and then some!! Im currently being treated for a bad ankle sprain, I know that Genesis will have me recovered ASAP and back out on the pavement ready to rock in no time.

I would recommend Genesis Physical Therapy to anyone. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was amazed at how much they genuinely care about you and how much fun they have at doing what they do. I cant imagine a better environment to have physical therapy. Over the past few months Ive been going to Genesis Phisycal Therapy several times a week for TMJ, shoulder and back pain. Katie is a wonderful therapist and doing her best to help me get better soon. I had shoulder surgery and did not want to go have physical therapy. I went anyway to make my doctor happy. A lady at Costco noticed that we had matching slings and recommended me to Genesis P.T. in Simi. From the minute I started treatment I loved everyone who works there. They know me by name and make me feel welcome. After my treatment is through I will miss everyone there!
