One afternoon My husband and I rushed to the ER of Sonoma Valley Hospital stunned and fearful. I was 34 weeks old pregnant and visiting Sonoma county for the first time with my husband. The birth center & ER team who played such a critical role in the birth of our son.That would include: Dr. Amara, Dr. Smith, Misty Rushing, Sue Grixti, Sheryl Pelton, Michael Smith, Loy yu, Jenny Grabes, Cindy Lopez and the wonderful ER doctor and nurses whom unfortunately I forgot the names. We are filled with gratitude for the birth centers team that was with us not only on that stressful day but until the very last moment that I was kept there.  As my husband and I reflected on the birth of those few days after our son was born, we kept talking about each and everyone of them and how incredible THEY ALL really are. As we did this we realized each one of them brought their special gift to this unexpected birth. I can emphatically say that we were supported by a true team of professional that went way beyond our expectation. They were all so present, so incredibly capable, so intuitive, sensitive, compassionate, polite, aware, informative, extremely caring and kind. I could go on.... We truly have endless praise for the way that they helped us to bring our son into this world! The entire team are beautiful people inside out. They not only professional people but most importantly you could see that they really love what they do.  The above mentioned teams are true assets of the SV Hospital. They do make huge differences in peoples lives.   We were so blessed that we got the luck to be there.

Great BirthCenter Staff and facilities. Very professional & caring. If you want to feel loved and cared I highly recommend this place, despite the small size of the hospital. You cant ask for better.

I must say, this hospital is rather overpriced. They charged $650 just for a simple blood test which took a few minutes. Its not like this is a really modern facility, either.

Had a great experience with the ED. I went straight back to the room and they addressed my tachycardia promptly. Im glad to come here for treatment.
