Our first time being in this ER department, I had an OB here in Silverdale Harrison, gave birth there this year and my experience was awesome. Unfortunately, ER department personnel were very unprofessional. My son was very sick at that time, me and husband were both tired and sleep deprived. We decided to bring him there because he wasnt taking anything, he had diarrhea, vomit and sleeplessness, no fever. We thought bringing him to ER would help us in the middle of the night since we are so worried and we dont know what to do. The first night was good, we got admitted right away, the doctor was very good on keeping on time to check us. The nurse guy who checked my sons temp and weight was good at that time. Doctor said to come back after 24 hrs if baby wasnt any better. So we did, the next night we were very surprised on how they welcome us back. Sarcasm was the key word that night and we do not need the " oh were open 24/7 you know" and " oh your back!" And also " how come you did not follow up on his doctor" sarcasm ness. We just put those aside since we dont have the time for those nasty comments from the staff including the doctor who treated my son that night. Please if you guys are thinking of going to this facility , think twice. Maybe some staff are great some are not. I was very disappointed that we had to experience that in this facility. Oh also we just received our medical bills. We have insurance but still, we have to pay for each doctor plus the ER care so 3 separate bills for 2 nights. Re evaluation of staff professionalism and customer service are needed asap.

Just got a letter from a collections agency from my wifes ER visit, two days after she came home from giving birth, we had to rush her to the ER to do a blood patch because the doctor messed up the epidural. We got the original bill, called because the insurance should have covered it. They said she has two insurances. We told them no she only has one. We called insurance company and said they fixed everything and to have them bill the insurance again. So we called to have them bill them again... 4 months later after everything is presumed fine... a collections letter... beyond pissed at the lack of communication from the billing department.

I called in to ask if I should come in for a medical issue (you know, so as not to waste their time). Before I could even describe my symptoms, the nurse with the very strong eubonics accent very rudely interrupted me with, "Hold up. Let me cut you off right there. We cant tell you whether or not to come in. You need to figure that out on your own." Even if this is really their policy, she didnt have to be so rude and unprofessional. Im sure she was really busy ignoring all her patients. Dont bother with this dumpy excuse for a hospital. Take the advice of others on here and drive to Tacoma.

My 3 year old son had a very sudden high fever and was screaming ow as he was holding his stomach. We took him in and were seen right away. My husband didnt get the nurses name but she was amazing. His favorite show is Little Einstein and she told him that rocket just turned into a superpump to help make him feel better, she flew the tube around and hooked it in his IV which with how he was screaming was tricky. After she did this he smiled and pointed at the superpump iv stand and kept saying rocket. She was simply amazing with my little man who wasnt feeling well and scared. :)

At the immediate Care clinic in Poulsbo, the Dr said I had a build up of pus behind my ear drum, and it was at risk to rupture. He told me to seek out an ENT immediately. I went into the ER and Dr Tomas Pietrus (sp?) Said that although they had an ENT on call, my condition wasnt serious enough. He told me that my hearing wasnt at risk, and sent me off with pain meds. That was Saturday the 19th of August. Today I confirmed with my PCM that my eardrum is indeed ruptured, and I may have permanent hearing damage. Im 25. This didnt need to happen.

Just drive to St. Joes in Tacoma, it will be worth it! I was seen in the emergency room for abdominal pain. After spending all day there, the doctor was convinced that is was a stomach flu. Two days later and feeling worse than I had while at Harrison I went to St. Joes in Tacoma. After a short easy ultra sound I was in surgery for a ruptured appendix. I spend 1 week in the hospital there with complications because it wasnt caught earlier. Dont trust the doctors here, go somewhere where they know what they are doing.

Things were a little scary when we arrived at the ER last night so I feel bad that I didnt hear the Dr say his name..but I would like to thank him and the staff for their professionalism and excellent care of my husband. All turned out well and my husband feels so much better this morning because of this staff. From the reception to the check out, I was so impressed with how quickly things went, along with the compassion you need. Thank you again..

Excellent care in the ER. Fast and thorough. By the time our 4yo was out of the check-in room and got to the exam room they had a printout sign and Teddy bear welcoming him. I do feel for anyone with billing issues, we dont have any because our son is on coordinated care, all of us should be so lucky. We called to see if they can do a barium ct scan as his medical needs dictate before going to Seattle and it saved us the trip.

This five star review is specifically in relation to the nursing staff in the post-surgery inpatient recovery area. They are all amazing and super helpful. They were all more than happy to help with any little thing my wife needed and never seemed to get annoyed or frustrated even when the requests seemed constant on our part.

BOO. Walked out of emergency after 7 hours of not being seen by a doctor. They werent even that busy. Clearly the doctors just want to make a buck off of you instead of treating you as a patient. Would NOT recommend anyone. Drive ten minutes to Silverdale you will save HOURS of time.

I gave birth to my son here and the nurses are amazing. Specifically Kaylee, she was wonderful. However, I was in labor for three days and ended up needing a c-section at the end of it all. I wish that the issue had been caught long before it got to the point that it did.
