I recently switched insurance after being kicked off of my parents PPO insurance. I now use the HMO insurance my employer offers. After being passed around looking for a Primary Care Physician, I ended up calling this office back because "Nancy" wasnt helpful and informative in the first place when I asked her about a PCP and an OB/GYN. She didnt ask any questions, but just gave me a phone number to an OB/GYN. After calling their office, the nice lady on the other end told me in order to see them, Id have to be referred by a PCP... Thanks "Nancy" for telling me that in the first place. So, I called the Memorial Care facility again and got "Nancy" again. After asking her nicely for an appointment with a PCP, she quickly got all my information and rudely hung up the phone on me. I know not every human being is as cordial as me when talking on the phone and considering that she works in the healthcare field, I did expect some semblance of care and kindness. All I got was a short and curt conversation and she hung up. After reading the reviews on here, I am no longer surprised. Looking forward to my appointment and speaking with Nancy again!

On Thursday July 23 I walked into the prompt care at approximately 2040. I was very sick and could not drive any further. I told the receptionist that I thought I was very sick. I had outpatient surgery at Memorial Hospital the previouis Monday using lazer to break up kidney stones. My name ia norma shipp and my family has been going to prompt care since it openrd. The front office girl said I should go to Memorial Hospital or Fountain Valley Hosptal. She did not have a physician see me. At that time my temperture was above,103 degrees. I was too sick to drive anywhere. I went to my car and called my husband who came and drove me to Memorial. I was admitted with sepis. The blood culture was positve for Pseudomonas. Memorial prompt care did not care what happened to me. I could have past out in my car and they probably wouldnt have done anything. Your care has been so terrific in the past, what has happened to your patient care? Norma Shipp

Went there to get an annual physical since it would be more convinenant than my regular Drs. They looked at me like they didnt know what I was talking about. "What type of physical do you need?" Just a routine annual physical. "Did your insurance give you a form." What?!?! Why would my insurance need to give me a form. You guys do offer physicals, right? "Yes but we dont know what type you need unless you have a form". They started looking at me like I was stupid. Stuck up girls. On their website and in the office they say they offer physicals. They started asking and running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I left and went to a place on Springdale and Warner where they gave me what I needed. No form needed. I also got lucky and there was no wait.

I really love the hours of this medical facility. What other Doctor office is open until 9:00 p.m? I have been going here for 10 years and have liked all the Doctors Ive seen at Memorial Prompt Care. Someone does an excellent job of hiring people who really listen to you. I dont feel rushed when I need to ask questions. That might mean a little longer wait, but I think it is an excellent trade off. My wait time has usually been about 1/2 hour. During busy times (flu season) the wait can be longer. Cant understand other complaints about Memorial Prompt Cares wait time. It is nothing compared to the time you have to wait in a regular doctors office if they squeeze you in at the last minute, or the hours wait of an E.R.

Completely corporate. Unhelpful, rude, and they could care less about any patients condition. Terrible with prescription refills and they only want you return multiple times to obtain the cost of the visit through insurance. I left a comment in their comment box when i had gone and had a terrible experience with their office staff and i never received a phone call by anyone in the office or a district manager or anything. Ive had multiple occasions where they were extremely unhelpful and i will not be returning to any memorial prompt care units ever again. I would recommend to find a family practice where they still show compassion and treat patients respectfully and graciously.

I have been going here for 20 years. Health Care is on the decline in the US. All of the doctors here are extremely competent and good. However, a corporation took this place over 30 months ago and the billing is atrocious. Not as good as it used to be. Wait times can be 30 - 75 minutes depending on the time you go. But I recommend it because you dont have to make an appointment. I love the fact I can go in on an evening, Saturday, or Sunday and all the doctors and nurses are very good. My primary doctor is a doctor here at Memorial Prompt Care. If you want top notch Health Care, you should not have voted for Obama.

The staff is rude, the Drs worse. Paying cash and dont feel well, dont bother going here, they will not write the necessary tests to get done, no matter how much you ask them too, they lose interest in cash patients quickly. They will start a treatment, and then close on you telling you, we are closed now, go to an ER to get those stitches done, after they numbed up, and failed to get them done before closing.

Loved this place for over 10 years, never had a problem until today. Front staff very helpful. Both nurse and Dr. were uptight, even rude. Told The doctor I didnt feel well but will try to be a better patient because Im sure they were stressed out too. Dont know what else you can do. Dr. told me left tonsil swollen, I have no tonsils. Not going back

This place is okay. I swear they have the most unfriendly staff. I think if you asked them to smile their face might break. Some of the nurses are the worst of them. Just really cold. This place is so close to home and havent research another spot yet. I would go anywhere else if you can.

I have always enjoyed memorial care in fountain valley and decided to try Westminster because it was closer to home. Waited an hour for a TB shot after 3 people who came in after got called. The office always seems empty. My best complement is that I enjoy their lobby music.

Went to get a tb shot took about an hour and a half just to get the shot and took an hour just so they can see it and say yes negative and still took another 30 min just to bring me my paper slowest office I ever been to for a tb!!!!

If you dont end up waiting too long in the lobby, youll end up waiting for your doc and/ support (ie xrays, etc). The great news though is that I have always been treated well here. The staff is very knowledgable.

This facility and the doctors and staff has always treated my family very well, and in fact given us excellent medical treatment. Their care has been consistent over 10 years, and always top notch. Thank you!
