There are Pros and Cons to being a 4 year patient of Pathway Medical Group Westminster.--Cons: They hired a new bleached blonde medical assistant (dont remember her name) that calls herself a nurse, but doesnt have the education to actually legitimately be called a nurse when in fact she is actually a medical assistant. All the "nurses" at Pathway Medical Group Westminster are actually medical assistants for your information just in case you didnt know. Further, my point is that this new bleached blonde (No Name) medical assistant is extremely unfriendly, short tempered, hot headed, high strung, uptight with eyes bugged out. She is strange and it looks like she has had 10 cups of coffee or something. In one instance, I was running a little late to one of my appointments, but was STILL within the 15 min. allowed time to be late and the Bleach Blonde Medical Assistant that works with Dr. Mehryan in the medical rooms starts giving me and my mother an extremely bad attitude, ****giving me a dirty medical room without changing the paper on the clinic bed AND leaving a brown liquid spill on the counter**** slamming doors excessively in my face, and doesnt even bother to ask: "How are you doing" or anything. She just gives my mother and I a nasty angry look just because she feels like it. Im VERY SURPRISED that they hired such a bad medical assistant, and still am so surprised at how badly she mistreated me and my mother. I dont plan on coming back to Pathway Medical Group Westminster after being mistreated by the new bleach blonde medical assistant. Ive been coming to Pathway Medical Group Westminster for about FOUR YEARS, and now that theyve hired the bleach blonde medical assistant then I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK to Pathway Medical Group anymore. **The GOOD things about Pathway Medical Group Westminster ARE: Two or Three of the doctors MDs have been extremely helpful, Kind/Caring Compassionate, Educated, and Knowledgeable. The best doctor that Ive ever seen in my life is Dr. Mehryan. **The ladies that work at the front desk are very helpful, BUT the lady that works back in authorizations department is too slow to process the referrals my doctor has given me. Sometimes an authorization to be referred to a specialist will take 3-4 weeks instead of the 2 week period its supposed to take, and sometimes they give you referrals to specialists where the specialist doctor referral doesnt answer the phone so you cant make an appointment.
