I have to say I was very upset when i Left. Was told the first appointment would be with the doctor to get to know her and learn my history. Never saw her. Her PA came in very rude. Asked me a few quested pressed on my stomach have no idea why since I had no complaint there. Told her issues I was having stated she would give me a referral to a pain medicine clinic which is what I wanted. Wanted to know why im on Warfarin for a long period of time explained I was diagnosed with a condition that makes my boy produce blood clots that I would need to be on it for life. Said I should got on one of the other medications explained to he r that I have been seeing a hematologist and stated the other 2 drugs are so new that he doesnt recommend them for me. Didnt like my answer dont care he is the expert and I trust him the only one that has given me any answers in 5 years. Took my blood to check my inr tried to explain that I go to the cumadin clinic at porter have for a very long time took it any way. My number was 3.2 a little high so wanted to adjust my dosages. But never wrote down what I needed to take or what days. Ill stick with people I trust. I"m very unhappy about all this since I read so many great reviews. Maybe Sharon was having a bad day I dont know. Im not a child I have been dealing with this for many years and I dont need her telling me what to do. Why would I not see the doctor first of all. 2 of he girls were arguing quietly but you could feel the tension in the air. Im going to file a complaint with my insurance company as a pa your not a doctor seeing me for 5 minutes does not make you an expert especially on this matter. Thank you.

Requires 3 month revisits to "re-prescribe" the same maintenance prescription. Will not provide prescription longer than 90 days for maintenance prescription. This contradicts how most health insurance and prescription plans work. Seems like a scam to pay for "office visits" with no added value. During January appt. I was told by Dr. Kamat that I could schedule annual preventative checkup in April. I pointed out I had one in June last year, so wouldnt that be too soon? Her answer was "No, its by calendar year." So, I made appt. for April. When I arrived at office in April, they informed me my insurance wouldnt pay for the annual checkup because it hadnt been a year since the last time. So I said, "Then Ill be back in June. Can I get my prescription refilled? Response -- No, not unless you keep your appt. Seriously???

I really enjoyed going to this doctor until I found out they charge just to have documents signed for my Insurance company. I found out after a PayPal bill was sent to me. No one called nor was it in any paperwork! $10 just for a signature and writing a few dates on a form! Thats ridiculous!! She is a good doctor but office managment needs restructuring. Im going to find another doctor.

They suck i was there for my appointment at 1:30 they were at lunch i waited for an hour and someone that came in after Me for seen first. They wouldnt do my blood test there kept sending me to places outside the clinic to get tests done. They are very unprofessional
