I am torn between giving this place a 5 and a 1 star. The first deep clean appointment with the dental hygienist named Marilyn went very well. She is very friendly. I paid the for 3 sessions for the price of two because Marilyn go out of her own way to clean my teeth. I thought to myself the people of this place is amazing. The next appointment with a different hygienist however was a different story. I was 10 minutes late to the appointment and by the time they got everything set up it was 20 mins into the session. I immediately apologize to the hygienist (whose name I prefer not to name) for being late upon being "greeted" by her, she said nothing, only looked away and laughed condescendingly. I knew immediately that this would not go well. We settled down and she run regular check of my teeth after which she tell me that "You make our job very hard by coming in late, this is the second time you have been late ( I was 5 mins late to the first appointment too), and we are not supposed to rush." I thought to myself that at least she was done being passive aggressive. Except she rushed away. She did not administer enough anesthesia and was REALLY rough on my teeth. At some point I thought she was trying to yank my teeth out. I thought to myself I know I was late but I would gladly pay for another session instead of going through this. Though I said nothing for the rest of the session. By the time she was done it took only 1 hour 20 mins and she is 15 min early for her next appointment. For who of you who do not know it typically take 2 hours to deep clean half of your mouth. It did for me in the previous sessions. Yes, I have CICP - a form of insurance for the low income in colorado who are not qualified for Medicaid. Yes, I was late to my appointment. But did I deserved to be treated like some industrial cow being flayed for flesh like that? HELL NO. I too work in customer service and guess what? Customers are people. And people will be late from times to time. I would rather be turned down that morning for being late than ever going through that again.

I have been a long time patient of the Myron Stratton clinic which has some of the best providers in Colorado Springs. However, the dental clinic is the worst clinic I have ever been to. There are two Dentist who patients need to avoid. Dr. Jon Matthes is unprofessional and a inept provider. Per Dr. MATTHES I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL ON ONE OF MY FRONT BOTTOM TEETH. THE DAY OF THE APPOINMENT HE DECIDES HE DOES NOT WANT TO DO THE ROOT CANAL. The reason made no sense other than he did not want to treat the tooth. He claimed I had an infection but he did not prescribe any medication to clear up the infection. He sent DA rita to bark orders to me that the DR. Did not want to do the root canal and I had to go to a DENTIST in Denver lol for a root canal. He left me sitting in the chair and.never came back. I SPOKE WITH Evon Myers Vp of dental operations who scheduled a appoitment with Emily Kennedy who was not anymore interest in treating me than was Matthes. She jabbed the needle into my lower gum and into my teeth and I was moaning crying out in pain she contiuned to jabb the needle deeper at much intense pain i pulled her wrist away from my mouth. So we both.agree to continue with the appointment so she injected the needle a second time left and never came back she left me in the chair mouth was numb and decided she did not feel safe

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I went in for an interview! drove all the way from pueblo colorado. My interview was at 11:00. Upon arrival I waited behind a huge line of people, a few minutes passed by. I heared the receptionist tell the woman in front of me its going to be a long wait that they were down two Dr.s, so it would be a while. its 11:03 now still waiting finally get to the receptionist desk and told them my name and that I was here for an interview. She said have a seat and they will call me back shortly. I waited a few more minutes. And a lady calls me up front. She said we CANT SEE YOU TODAY! I asked why? She said I was "Late" I told her No I was on time I was standing in a huge line. She said no I looked for you in the lobby you were not here. I was like its only 11:08? she said sorry the Dr. Is busy he cant see you. I was beyond livid. Took every ounce of me to not tell her to go F*** herself!

Do not go here I can not say that enough!! I went in with pain a couple weeks ago and told them where it was bothering me and they took an xray. Then told me that nothing was wrong with that tooth and said it was probably the one in front of it and told me I had to make another appointment to have that on checked instead of taking 5more minutes to look at it I was seriously in and out of there so fast the lady at the front desk was like did you even go back. I tell her what they said and go to make another appointment and they cant get me in until the end of February beginning of March just to look at the tooth that hurts. So here I am 3 weeks later and in so much pain I cant even chew so now I shall do what I should have done to begin with and call comfort dental

The woman in the front desk is very, very rude. Not only to me but to almost every patient that she has to talk with. She is always rolling her eyes and has a horrible attitude, and is always with that little smirk on her face. Seriously? She needs to calm down, and treat everyone right. Why would you work in this kind of work field if you obviously hate it? Find something close to it or something but dont mistreat people. I pray for you lady and that GOD may help you find the job you would enjoy.

I had a bad toothache all weekend I called and got an emergency appointment they told me to do a walk in and I would be seen I waited all morning till noon I paid sixty dollars out of pocket just to be poked at then telling me I have a cavity which I already knew that I had one they said now you have to come back in February for us to fix it...... seriously you want me to wait almost three more weeks in pain your office is a joke!!!!! I am going to comfort dental

Worst customer service. If I could get a better insurance I would drop this place in a minute! Their staff is rude and they have no idea how to check a chart! Also needed an email of my X-rays sent and they lost the form and never sent them. Good job you guys! I expect nothing less from Pean Vista at this point. Avoid them if you can!

The staff, dentists and technicians are all professional, helpful and, most important, they all care about the patient. I prefer Peak Vista Dental to any private pratice that I have ever been to.
