First, we have been Banfield members nearly 9 years. i would like to say the Dr.s and vet techs have always been fantastic to our pups. Weve always felt their health has been put first. Second, after we lost our 12 year old dog last month, we called to cancel her wellness plan. We were told we first needed to pay the "discounts" we were given at her last visit because she died in contract year of her wellness plan. Her bills were paid in full. The charges were the "discounts" you are given for treatment for being a wellness member. Apparently we were on auto renew (make sure youre not on that, esp if your dog is elderly). Our plan renewed in March. Our dogs treatment was in May, paid in full. And she died in July. We were told we needed to backpay the "discounts" or pay out the rest of her contract year to cancel her plan. Wow. Talk about a knife in the stomach. I even contacted corporate, to explain the situation and make sure these policies were not consistant with all members of the wellness plan. Corporate sent me back a very nice email stating my concerns were important and they value their customers and want to provide great service and care and a local hospital leadersip would review my concern and contact me back. It has been over a month and nothing, so i am providing awareness. Be cautious about servicing an elderly dog here during their contracted year. You may end up back-paying hundreds of dollars for "discounts." Best of luck to others and their furbabies.

My dog and I have been going to banfields at stapleton for almost a year now. We found them because we were new to the neighborhood and they are the closest vet to our home. My fiance and I are young professionals and cannot afford a really nice vet at this time, but we have never had any concerns with our dogs medical care at banfields. The staff is very friendly and already knows my dog by name. They always explain what the treatment plan is beforehand and then will review any cost or changes to that plan with you. We are signed up for one of the Wellness Programs through banfields and I could not be more pleased with the services and discounts we have received through this program. My dog is a 2 year old lab and by nature, often gets into trouble. Through the Wellness Program, I can bring my dog in to see the vet at any time free of charge. When I call they are often able to see us immediately, which I really appreciate. The only reason I did not give banfields 5 stars is that I feel theyre rooms are a little cramped. We plan on bringing our dog to banfields for many years to come!

I took my dog there a few times. My dog got a rash while in California and immediately cleared up upon arriving to CO. The nurse claimed my dog had a skin disease that wouldnt go away without expensive testing and medication. Sure enough, it cleared up on its own. I signed up for the wellness plan, which is a scam. They cancelled it without notifying me and wont reinstate it without me paying the rest of the full years term (even though it hasnt been an entire year). Even if I pay it wont cover my dog for the rest of the 6 months that are left. I would have to restart the wellness plan ALL over again!!!!! They dont care about your pet all they care about is how much money they can get out of your pocket!!! Dont waste your time and money at Banfield!!!!

So I was getting ready for an emergency move in California, and my do has severe anxiety. I called banefield and they said bring him in with his records of anxiety. I brought him on with all his paperwork, and after they checked him out they recommended an anxiety plan for my trip. They supplied him with exactly what he needed to make the trip atleast bearable for me without the spitting and him shaking the whole way. I appreciate the staff and service I received here as well as they did not discriminate for having a supposed to be aggressive dog breed. Thanks you guys

The staff is very friendly and great with the animals, but they are much more expensive than other vets around the area and perform many tests that seem over the top and unnecessary. They were constantly trying to sell us more tests, medications, and various other pet supplies that were very costly. If you are looking for more conservative, cost-effective care I would not go here. If you are wanting everything checked out, tested, treated, etc than they are certainly very thorough.

We have been very happy with Banfield Pet Hospital. At first, it was just about keeping our hound up on her shots, but now that she has a chronic condition she requires a little more attention. We do have the Wellness Plan, and have been grateful for it since her illness began. We have experienced nothing but excellent service, and our dog is never afraid to go there (which is a good sign). I would, and do, recommend this office to my pet-owning friends in our area.

Dont even bother wasting any money here. Thats all they care about, the money. They can careless if your dog or animal is in a critical situation. I feel terrible for taking my dog here the year that I have and with in that year my puppy has had numerous infections on his face and body and they keep pushing antibiotics on him not even worrying about running any tests or if they do they want to charge about 150$ more than a regular vet would. So banfield ...

Banfield is great until they rope you into a "wellness plan" and thats when the quit caring about your pet and start caring about selling you unneeded tests, services, and supplies that arent covered by your plan! They are all about money and do nothing to improve the life and health of your pet!

I have never been to a vet that has made me feel like a bad pet mom, until I went here. I went to get my kitten vaccinated. They allowed my kitten to jump around with the needle in his arm. It was the worst experience I have ever had with any of my animals.

The staff was great even though we were late they gave our pets a thorough exam as well as giving us cost effective options. Made follow-up phone call next day to see how one of our pets was doing!!

Nasty, incompetent, and will hurt your pet. Never ever ever go there.
