The only thing that kept my ED visit from being negative in ever facet was the radiology tech who seemed to care more than the doctor or any of the nursing staff. The doctor probably spent a total of 2 minutes in the room and nursing staff seemed completely disinterested and even rude. Upon dispo I asked to know what my BP which the nurse had to go back and check which clearly irritated her and when I asked why I might be hypertensive responded that maybe I just didnt like EDs and wanted to get me out as quickly as possible which was odd because there was no other patients there and it probably took a 1/2 hour for her to come in after I was given I diagnosis by the doctor. to discharge me. I had originally come in due to concern for pneumonia as I had been exposed and developed productive cough with shortness of breath that woke me up several times during the night. I was ultimately diagnosed with a viral URI and discharged home. All of this I could have tolerated, but the charges I received were completely ludicrous. Emergency Services: $1561 Chest X-Ray $658 Physicians Fees $404. All of this for a simple URI diagnosis with no lab work or meds whatsoever. This place is a total rip-off so if you are uninsured or have a high deductible plan or simply want an ED visit with a personable staff I would highly recommend any other option in the Denver area.

I visited this ER in 2/2016 for vomiting and diarrhea due to suspect food poisoning. The tests that were run on me were blood work and a urinalysis. I received an IV cath, 2000ml of fluids, and one injection of antinausea medication. I was there for less than 3 hours. I was charged by the doctor AND the hospital as the doctor is apparently out of network even though the hospital is listed as in network. That bill for the 10 minutes I spent with him was $2400. The bill I received from the hospital EIGHTEEN MONTHS LATER is $5100. Thats $7500 for a ~3 hour ER visit for food poisoning. And that is WITH INSURANCE. I cannot believe these charges. This is literal robbery. I am a veterinarian that does a similar treatment on my patients every single day and the cost is never over $600 which includes a full day of hospitalization. I have never felt so upset. I dont have $5100 laying around. Most people dont. All I wanted was to stop vomiting and now, 18 months later, it is costing me $5100 ABOVE the $2400 I paid this facility last year. It is unacceptable and I highly recommend taking your services elsewhere.

I checked in online and from there the experience was amazing, they called me to confirm and then told me I could go ahead and come in earlier than the time I set online. once I got there, they were so friendly and they got me to the back very quickly I didnt even get to finish filling out my paperwork before they took me back. Once in the back it was not like any emergency room I have ever been to where you wait for 2 hours to see a doctor, the doctor was there before I could even sit down, and he was so polite and actually took the time to explain things and ask questions. I had to have x rays and she brought the x ray machine in the room I didnt even have to wait long for that. Lastly, today they actually made a follow up call to make sure everything was going ok, my own doctor doesnt even do that. I cant say thank you enough for how they treated me and the care they took, I would recommend this emergency room over any other. The Check-In online option is fantastic. I received a callback in less than 5 minutes to verify the appointment and give insurance type. On arrival I was greeted warmly and filled out the usual paperwork. I was directed to a room quickly and was seen very quickly by a nurse for vitals and soon after the doctor. Ive never made it through any doctor appointment that fast in my life while still getting quality care.Everyone was courteous and professional. Edit: I received the bill. $2100 for a UA and told to use an OTC med. ER or not, that is obscene. I made the mistake of confusing them accepting my insurance with them being in network, so thats on me. But still, $2100 for them literally doing nothing besides looking at me is ridiculous.

Went in after I busted my knee on a Sunday morning since the urgent care was still closed. Big mistake. They couldnt tell me what was wrong with it except that nothing was broken which I already knew. They gave me a brace that I couldnt use, a set of crutches, and a referral to a real doctor that I couldnt go to because she didnt take my insurance. Ended up going to an Orthopedic doctor a couple days later who told exactly what happened and how to get my knee better. Oh and his bill was a small fraction compared to theirs. These guys are legally robbing people and insurance companies if you really look at the amount they charge for poor service. Wasnt surprised that they already had lawsuits when I looked it up. Wish I knew beforehand.

Fast to get inn,and seems like the staff really cares, I have chronic pain in my back from a car wreck and I have been on pain meds for 4 years I just moved to Denver and I have had a hard time getting the medicine I need so I can get by day to day, they listen to me and looked over my medical history and was able to help me for a few days until I can get into the pain management doctor, I felt as if I wasnt judge and I am very happy with the staff and the doctor who saw me , thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope I can get by until I can see the pain management doctor,if I can not I will not hesitate to come back to you guys, keep up the good work and God bless you all.Rkl1125

This ER was not only clean, and pleasant to visit but there was no wait at all for me to be seen after a minor car accident. This location has Xray, and CT available in a quicker and more concise space than a large hospital. The nurses and doctors were are very polite and helpful. They did a through battery of exams after my vehicle collision to insure I had no concussion or other underlying trauma and did all of this in a very friendly and inviting environment. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was because the Xray machine was having issues during my visit and delayed my treatment by about an hour total with all the kinks and snags it caused during my Xray session.

The entire staff at UCHealth is amazing. I am very grateful for them. I had to be transported to university due to my condition. While I was there they went above and beyond to help me and keep me comfortable. So nice, polite, caring and lovable nurses and doctors. I felt like I was being taken care of by my family. Once I was home from surgery I had get well cards from every person that took care of me. It made me cry I was so touched. Thank you so much UCHeallth family you guys are the best and you really care ❤️.
