FRAUD ALERT FRAUD ALERT FRAUDULENTLY OVER CHARGING YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE DONT GET SWINDLED BY THEM!!!!! If I could do negative stars I would rather do that than instead of giving 1 star. My husband and I have gone here and we will not be going to be coming back and I suggest that everyone else needs to be avoiding them as well. We were there with in the past month, because my husband had to have 3 wisdom teeth removed right away. When we got there we checked in did all the paper work, I gave the office manager Christina Whisenant all of our dental insurance information then we went in back normal stuff x-rays were done then we talked with the dentist about what teeth needed to be removed and that my husband also needs to have a bone graph done as well. After the dentist left of course the office manager Christina Whisenant came in and told us that our cost for what needs to be done would be $3,000 and that was supposed to be after our insurance company was billed. Well of course we can not afford a bill like that, we discussed what we can afford since my husband is disabled. He just got the three teeth removed without the necessary bone graph. Somehow that miraculously reduced our price to $450.00 after our insurance company paid their part. About a week later we kept getting phone calls from Andrea stating that the insurance information wasnt correct then, on another call Andrea left a message saying we have a discount plan. Well in this new day and age I went to my insurance companies website and saw that they never submitted anything to them even though they were given the policy number and contact number for our insurance. Well I guess they lost it, hmmmmm but then how were they able to give me a quote on how much it would cost thru our insurance. I ended up emailing them not once but three times to give them the information again. Of course they dont read emails because we kept receiving calls from Andrea saying we have no insurance and we have to pay our bill. In the mean time we are receiving bilks in the mail from them for $543.00 ????? Im just baffled by how they came up with a different amount. Well enough was enough we called up their office and spoke with Christina Whisenant about the cost going up all she could say was I dont know why you are getting a bill for more if says in your file you owe $450.00 then I questioned her about the insurance problem. Then all the lies started first it was you have the discount plan, then it was the insurance company couldnt find you in their system finally it was you didnt give me the correct information wow really three lies in one phone call. So with her on the phone I proceeded to call my insurance company and put it on speaker so she could hear that their is coverage and it is a ppo not a discount plan. Well, she was speechless and then tried to ask me for the insurance information again, we told her that if they actually checked their emails than this issue would have been resolved awhile ago. They were told by us that we want everything all paper work including the quoted price and all the billing codes that they are submitting to the insurance since they like to fraudulently charge patients and the insurance companies. After someone contacted the insurance company she (Christina Whisenant) calls back and then tries to speak with us about our benefits we told her that the only people who we will speak with about all the deception and fraudulent activity in their office is the owner of the business, law enforcement and my lawyer. I contacted the insurance company and notified them of the issues and I also proceeded to let them know what was done and that this business has fraudulently charged other insurance companies and even their own patients. If you go here take a close look at all bills from them and also keep a close eye on what they have charged to your insurance.

This dental office is the most dishonest and corrupt practice I have ever encountered. I was new in the area and decided to go there for an exam. They told me I needed $900 of dental care that my insurance would not cover (scaling and root planing and 5 fillings). I was very surprised as I had just been to the dentist 6 months prior in another state and had been told everything was fine. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Mesa Ridge Dental right across the parking lot (they were great!). The dentist there told me that there was no way that I needed any type of scaling and root planing procedure, and that I only needed 1 filling. He measured the pockets in my gum line and said there were no areas greater than 3mm (the dentist at Fountain modern dentistry had "measured" pockets that were 5-6 mm) He told me this type of practice is sometimes typical for huge corporate dental offices that are based out of state. I could not believe that a health professional would be so dishonest and attempt to do unnecessary treatments (which is health care fraud) just to make a little more money off me. My second issue came up with this offices billing practices. My insurance and I were billed for procedures that were not completed- this is also considered health care fraud. I had a letter from my insurance stating I owed $300. I was very surprised as I went in for the basic exam and didnt even get a cleaning. When I called to question it, I was told they made a mistake with their coding. The woman I spoke to in billing said she would remove the false codes and correct this mistake with my insurance (who had unfortunately already sent them a check). She said I would not owe them anything. However, just yesterday I received a bill from Fountain Modern Dentistry for over $100 so I am going to have to call again. Fountain modern dentistry has given me a lot of stress and wasted several hours of my time. This practice is shady and fraudulent. If you are new to town and looking for a dentist, dont make the same mistake I did!

I chose this business after moving into the area. I have never had any problems with my teeth and I had just seen my previous dentist shortly before coming here. Besides the staff being rude, it seems that every visit that I have I have been told that I needed an expensive procedure. First, the first thing they commented was that I have regular, metal fillings and have offered to replace them with some porcelain product. Obviously, they dont bother me so I declined. Next, they told me that I needed a crown on one of my teeth. So, I got the procedure and $700 later (after insurance) it was still in pain. They then tried to tell me I needed a root canal, which I declined. Turned out that they put it in incorrectly. Still have problems with it from time to time. Next, I asked them for a new retainer. What I got was a very expensive piece of plastic that does not fit my bite. On my last few visits they decided to tell me that I needed several more crowns on several more teeth because my metal fillings were bad. I have no pain and no problems. I doubt I even have a cavity where my fillings are. The lady at the front desk kept pushing me to get the procedure and pay for it then. I kept telling her "no" and I could not even afford it anyhow. Her response, "Well, use the credit card you used last time". People, this place is a scam organization. They advertise the amount of crowns they do and display it in their front lobby. I am going to get a second opinion, but I dont see how I went from having no problems for years to suddenly needing crowns on all my teeth.
