Billing is absolutely ridiculous. Went for a minor cut from a dog bite and just wanted antibiotics. I asked how they were going to bill me before I was admitted, and the lady at the front said to ask the doctor. I told them I would not admit myself if it was emergency care and was only there for urgent care. The doctor AND his nurse both assured me this would be charged as an urgent care visit and not an emergency room visit. So the nurse cleaned the wound half ass, and glued it shut. The doctor said I didnt need antibiotics if the wound was closed. I requested antibiotics again and he wrote a prescription, which is necessary in dog bites to get the bacteria out. I didnt think too much into it, should have after those two. Well, two months later I get a bill for 250$, stating that my insurance paid for it, along with my payment I made the day of, which they still charged my issurance for as well. But still sent me a bill to pay the same amount. I called my insurance and was told that Centura charged me 584.45$ plus $250 for a facility fee. For urgent care? And then billed me for the same amount. I called too many different numbers that this company gave me until I finally got to someone that said they have to review the paperwork to see if I agreed to emergency room care. And that the doctor cannot make a decision if its urgent care or emergency care. Summed up my insurance HRA (which I pay into) was drained for $834.45 and they act like they couldnt care less. This company is sketchy as you can see from the vast number of bad reviews. Stay away from this place they are not to be trusted. Even if you are told youre getting urgent care, like I was, it seems likely you wont.

DO NOT USE URGENT CARE - GO ANYWHERE ELSE! YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR AN EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT AND AN ABSURD FACILITY CHARGE! Billing practices here are thievery. Go anywhere else. I was told my visit for an anxiety attack and subsequent EKG would be $200. My bill was $3,700. I received no treatment and they couldnt even find the EKG machine and had to use some backup piece of equipment. 4 people came in to try and get the EKG working without luck. I called billing to protest as this HAS to be a mistake but after reading the reviews below I fear this was not a mistake but done on purpose. Im waiting on a call back from billing but I will definitely update as this place seems like a scam. Other notes: -I received a bill 4 months after service with payment due 7 days after I received the $3,700 bill. -There is NO itemization on what I was billed for. Just one line: Pay us for this service date. -I called to find out what services were performed. The clinic does not have those records and medical records can only mail me those records in 7-10 days. I was seen for an anxiety attack and Im about to have another one dealing with this center. DO NOT GO HERE! Update: I had to call billing to get details of my charges. There was a facility fee of $3,460 for a mere panic attack. The billing person was unable to tell me how the facility fee was determined and could provide no further detail. I learned how to dispute this charge and will update so others arent taken advantage of.

The facility is so beautiful, and I was so excited there was a new option in town for primary care. I had my first appointment, and enjoyed the doctor. He assured me they were a brand new practice, so please let him know ANY feedback I had. Left feeling good about my interaction. I had a blood test for my coumadin prescription, and advised them I needed a refill on the prescription. Coumadin is something you HAVE to take every day, if you have a blood clotting disorder, or you are prone to blood clots/strokes. After a week I still had not heard from the pharmacy that the prescription was ready, so I started calling...as I was almost out of the medication. To summarize, I had to place 9 phone calls to the office, and went 8 days without my medication, because apparently it was too difficult to process a prescription refill. So, I called back and asked to the doctor, several more times, to give him my feedback...and was advised by the gatekeeper, Janet, that Dr. Zorilla does not talk to patients over the phone, and if I wanted to speak with him about the issue, I would have to make another appointment and come back in. I guess back to New West Physicians I go. At least with them, I get my medication, and they will return phone calls.

The doctor himself was OK, His main office is up North but it sounds like he will come to Golden if he can drum up enough business. However, I have had major problems with their billing. I went in for a preventative care visit, and they coded it as a regular doctor visit. If they had coded it correctly, I wouldnt have had to pay anything as my insurance would have covered it. However, I tried multiple times to work with Centura Health to get it coded correctly. They basically told me they reviewed my request and would not change the coding because they will get paid either way and that I owed them $100.00. They said if I didnt pay they would turn it over to a collection agency which would hurt my credit so I better pay. Well, good point so I paid. Not a really big deal, it was only $100, but enough to make it so I will never go there again. I think what really put me off was the threatening tone and the complete lack of care if they got the billing correct.

My friend very devastated because she was unable to cancel her dr appointment at this clinic, she called the same number 4320 what they left voice message, but it says wrong number, and she had to find another their 4340 number to let them know numerous times to cancel the appointment, but she couldnt, they scheduled for her and also they left voice message on her phone yesterday to reminds her the dr appointment, my friend said she called numerous times yesterday to cancel the appointment when she got the voice message from them, but she failed, she thinks at least the dr should know that the appointment with her on Wednesday 3 cancelled. What a sweating! Even though they left voice message to remind her, but your phone number doesnt take phone call, she had to find different number to let you guys know all day, Why is it this difficult to her just to cancel the appointment to reschedule? Why did they needed to playing game on her all day? Very disappointing!

Sloppy billing and disingenuous service. I am new to the area and wanted to find a primary care provider. I had my annual physical there and the doctor asked me general questions about my health. I was baited into talking about issues outside of the scope of my physical (according to Centura) and was subsequently charged for additional services because of it. My entire appointment was 20 minutes long and all he did was check my blood pressure and pulse. This was not a thorough examination and no specialty care was provided. Both the billing department and the center itself refused to remove the additional charges and I was stuck paying the bill. Follow-up from the center itself was also poor and disorganized. I stopped by twice and both times I was told I would receive a call back to address the issue. I never received a call back. All I wanted was a physical and they provided poor doctor care and terrible customer service. I will never visit them again.
