I am a PhD student in my 30s. Despite having more education under my belt than most of the practitioners, I am forced to give up my regular insurance because the school pays us under the poverty line, and wardenburg is unfortunately the only place we can afford care. They treat graduate students like undergraduates. I was literally screamed at by one of the PAs for asking for a refill of cough syrup that the PA who prescribed it to me told me to come in to refill. I went to talk to the head of the hospital to file a complaint. They treat us as undergraduate drug addicts that are looking for the next party!! We have nowhere else to go and EVERY time I go there they treat me less and less like a human being. I feel judged and Im frankly sick of it. I am going to do everything in my power to get this place turned upside down for their improper care and poor bedside manner. I hope the undergraduates who read this know where their money goes. It goes to buff shaped pools that dont stay open but for a few months and meanwhile your TAs are in poverty and without proper insurance despite having 6+ years of higher education. The university is a microcosm that represents all that is wrong in the world. I guess this really is Trumps America now. Thanks for nothing wardenburg

Wanted to write a review because I had to put up with this place for the past four years of college at CU. Today, as a graduate, I walked in to pick up a prescription which was not ready when they said it would be, and as I waited, the front desk cashier proceeded to be extremely rude for no reason and gave me attitude. Did I mention Ive came here multiple times in the past with a sore throat only to be turned away with no medication and come back less than a week later with either strep or tonsillitis. This past semester I came in with a bad cough and was turned away with no medication only for it to turn into a serious pneumonia which I had to go to the emergency room for, be put on two rounds of different antibiotics, and be given an inhaler. This place F-in sucks and Im so glad to have graduated and will no longer be refilling my prescriptions at this place. Will be praying for the freshman who have another 3 to 4 years of this hell.

Hello
So rude. So over the weekend I got strep and of course theyre closed so I made an appointment but decided to go to another clinic to get better before Monday. I got my medicine and everything. Throughout the weekend I tried to call to cancel no one picked up. Then I call Monday morning after my class to cancel and the woman and the desk said it would be a 30 dollar charge!! I tried to tell her I have been calling all weekend to cancel and she yelled at me. So now Im wasting my time going into a clinic and Im healthy and have medications. Its a waste of my time and theirs. This clinic is horrible. I suggest that cu students dont go here at all! Very bad service and off campus clinics are better

Ive been to Wardenburg for various illnesses, minor injuries, and routine visits, and theyve always been fast, professional and helpful. Having lab and x-ray facilities on site is very convenient. For sudden illnesses and injuries, Ive always been able to call the night before and get an appointment for the next morning. Once Im there they get a doctors visit and diagnostic tests done within an hour. When Ive gotten a prescription, the doctor has always followed up by phone to check that Im getting better on schedule. The staff in the womens health clinic are especially great - knowledgeable, funny, and empathetic.

Bearing in mind that it is not a full medical facility, and that most of the staff are in-training, Wardenburg still gets the job done. The doctors are helpful as well as the nurses, and they do it all without a full arsenal of medical equipment, so kudos to them. The pharmacy and all of the pharmacy workers, however, are quite literally trash. I would give them more credit if they showed the least bit of respect to the customer, or competence in their duties, but these traits are non-existent. The stock of drugs in the pharmacy is also lacking, so I suggest avoiding the pharmacy altogether.

Nurse Practitioners Nina Syz and Melissa Batey are the absolute rudest, most unkind health "professionals" Ive ever encountered in my 36 years. I dont know if its because they feel they can intimidate students with their confrontational behavior, or something else. Either way, avoid them at all costs. Ive had absolutely lovely interactions with all other true professionals in the office, but will be filing complaints on both of these two with the state. If you dont love your job working with people, dont work with people.

Although the providers are perfectly pleasant, dont expect that theyll do anything! They are easily overwhelmed use a "wait and see" or "see a specialist" approach for even the most basic things. One time, they couldnt even handle an ear infection. As such, they neither excel in acute or chronic care. On top of that, your $3,800 a year Gold Health Plan is basically useless because nobody else (even halfway competent) can be your Primary Care Doc besides Wardenburg. Ive gotten better care at a clinic inside of a Walgreens.

Avoid Wardenburg. Theyre very friendly and caring, but they will never prescribe you medication. I had a respiratory infection along with a sinus infection (which they told me I didnt have) and their advice was get lots of rest, lots of fluids, and use a humidifier. If youre not better in two weeks come back. Two weeks is pretty unacceptable. I waited about 2 hours and went to another clinic where I got the medication I needed. Theyre friendly, but pretty useless.

I dont know what all these people are complaining about... If youre on the student gold plan, pretty much all of your visits are free (cant say the same for most private insurance plans), medication is cheap, and the doctors are good. Not perfect, but at least as good as your options would be elsewhere.

This is such a great facility. My care here is always consistent and the providers are always knowledgeable. I am so proud to be a CU buff since I am cared for so well. Thank you to the wardenburg team for making sure everything is under control. Medical clinic rocks!

Friendly staff, but careless doctors who are simply trying to get you in and out as quick as possible with a expensive prescription that most likely will not work

Doctors arent the best. I actually had to point out multiple fractures while a radiologist and doctor failed to see it...
