The quality care here can be excellent or average just depending on the doctor that is in that day, but the billing is TERRIBLE and not worth the trouble. I went in for pink eye and was later billed a copay for an urgent care visit AND an emergency room visit. My insurance company thought I went to two completely different facilities. Despite knowing their billing was terrible I also took my son in for a possible ear infection the next month because the wait time was 0minutes. There was no one else in the waiting room and we were put in an exam room right away and then proceeded to wait in the exam room for 45 minutes (with a toddler it felt like hours) before being seen by a doctor. The doctor looked in the first ear said it was definitely clear then looked in the second ear, said it was clear then looked in the first ear again and said there might be some fluid and gave us a prescription. He was so young and unsure I still dont know if my son really had an ear infection or not.

Double billed my insurance company. Their billing department (for all of Centura Health) refused to even hold on the phone when I offered to conference in my insurance company to sort things out. Their customer service is impossible to get ahold of, just goes to voicemail and they said they were too busy to check on my account to make sure it didnt go to collections while I sorted things out with insurance. I just feel lucky my identity hasnt been stolen from here...yet. Total scam. Also I think it was the first time the Dr there had ever done stitches...brutal.

Wow... This place is amazing in the bad way. I saw one of their docs 3 weeks ago, and he barely even looked at me and just said, if it doesnt go away let me know and Ill give you a referral for a specialist. My problem has not gone away, so I have tried to get a referral from them, and it has now been exactly a week with no referral still. I call every day, and they say they are "processing the request".... What a joke of a practice! Over a week just to get them to write a referral?

DO NOT go to this Urgent Care/ER unless it is a true emergency. I went on two occasions and was shocked when I received the bill. Not only do they charge a crazy amount for the doctors but they charge an additional "Facility fee" just for the use of the building of $450.00. My niece also went there during a big snow storm for an ear ache and was charged over $1000.00 bill! I will not go back unless I am in so much pain I cant handle it and cant make it to the nearest hospital.

I am so happy I chose Dr. Nuhfer as my GP at the Arvada Health Center. No hassles - great staff, and he takes the time I need. I am not just a "number" there. Highly recommend! I am shocked by how many people are mistaking the clinic for the ER/Urgent care next door. They are two separate and distinct facilities. Please dont judge the doctors at the Centura Arvada Neighborhood Health Center by the comments made here about the ER.

Fantastic service! My son had a nasty cut from a fall. They assessed his wound, cleaned it and stitched him up! They were amazing! We were in and out of there within an hour! Never have I been in and out of an ER in an hour! They followed up with us the following day to see how he was doing! Fantastic group of medical pros!

I am not sure why this urgent care center has low reviews. My family has used this facility 3 times over the past year and they are wonderful. Fast courteous, bright staff. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Maino and Dr Nuehfer are the best Doctors. Wish more doctors had the care ,compassion and bedside manners that these two doctors have. I LOVE CENTURA HEALTH. BLESS YOU GUYS!
