I called New West Physicians of South Golden Road this morning 7/31/12 to make an appointment for an inner ear infection which popped up over night and needs treatment immediately. I have common ear infections in one ear so this is no mystery to me. I have seen other New West Physicians in CO. New West Physicians of South Golden Road outright refused to schedule me an appointment because I was a "new" patient. Mind you this particular office just opened about a year ago and is near my house. I thought I would give them a try with something easy. The receptionist was also incredibly rude. So basically, New West Physicians of South Golden Road refuses to treat sick people. New West Physicians South Golden, shame on you. Do remember the hippocratic oath or is this all just about dollars and cents? I wager their policy of not accepting new patients day of is geared to funnel people into their more expensive New West Urgent Care Clinic next door. All I need is a damn antibiotic script. I live in Golden and will be telling everyone who will listen of the complete disregard for patient care practiced at New West Physicians South Golden.

Dr. Atkins is the most thorough and professional doctor I have ever had. She calls in consults as needed, responds to email questions and has never made me feel rushed. She has caught things overlooked by others. The staff is always pleasant, which is unusual in a busy practice.

Dr. Richardson was ready almost immediately when I came for my appointment. Staff were, for the most part, friendly and helpful, especially nursing staff. Dr. Richardson reviewed my history, and made what I thought were cogent comments.

Disorganized, slow 4hour waits. Walked out twice. Lacking in customer service. Claimed I wasnt an existing patient and I am. Id rather use webmd then ever go back to this place
