I came to meet Dr. Clapp and Neighborhood Pet Care Center after I had received a phone call from a customer of mine that her dog been seen at at this clinic. I always try to follow up with a vet after this happens to make sure that I get the full story, but to also ask appropriate questions that I need to know to make sure I am doing my job correctly. I called and was immediately able to talk to Dr. Clapp. In my experience it normally takes awhile to talk to someone and you usually only get a vet tech that has limited information to give you. Dr. Clapp was willing to talk to me about not only the situation at hand, but was more then willing to answer other questions off topic. I was blown away by how easy it was to talk with her and how nice she was about answering all the questions I had and even giving me advice for the future. In my profession I believe it is important to have open lines of communication with vets to make sure everyone can give the best quality pet care to any customer. When the time comes for my dogs yearly check up I will be changing vets and go to Dr. Clapp. I would will be recommending this clinic to not only my customers, but to my friends and family as well.

We (all three pets and I) LOVE Neighborhood Pet Care! Ive been taking my animals to them for about 7 years now, and am very pleased with the care and attention they give. Its obvious they all really love animals, and they work to make the exams as stress-free as possible. My old, extremely neurotic Siamese cat would even settle down enough for them to treat her. And, when she had to be put down at the ripe old age of 18, they were very compassionate and made the experience as comfortable as possible for both of us. My pup is currently being treated for a broken leg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the bill for the initial x-rays, splinting, cone-of-shame, and all, was extremely affordable. The weekly splint changes have been a quick in and out of the office, and the fee is a fraction of what it cost when I had to get a cast change on my (human) leg! Every time we get a new pet, Dr. Clapps office is the first stop. I wouldnt trust their health to anyone else.

Jeri used to be a great vet but my last several experiences has shown me she cares more about money than helping animals. Its a shame. My dog had a broken toe at 6 months old and she wanted to do a $4000 surgery on him and when I said thats crazy she wanted to put a splint on his leg which after a week realized it was causing atrophy since he was a growing pup. Took the splint off let it heal naturally like you would do for a human toe and the dog is fine. She just cared about getting a few bucks every week changing the splint as opposed to what was best for the dog.

Neighborhood Pet care is THE place to take your pets for care. Dr Clapp is awesome as is the rest of the staff. They have incredible compassion and I can tell they truely care about my extended family of pets. I have taken all my pets there for years. I was sad to hear that someone had such a negative experience becasue this particular animal hospital is the best in the Dnever Metro area. Bring your animal babies here and you will be pleased with the professional service AND especially the compassionate care.

Weve taken all of our animals, always 2 dogs and a cat, to Dr. Jeri for over 13 years. From wellness care to treatment of illness/injury to end of life care, these people are great! The staff know us and our pets when we come in and treat us like family. They are also very fair with their pricing too. If you live near Bowles & Lowell/Platte Canyon, THIS is the place to take your pets.

I cant rave enough about the care and concern we received! Dr. Jeri, Tara and the entire team are extraordinarily dedicated to their patients, going well above and beyond - to not only save our dog - but constantly updating and reassuring his humans, too. 5 stars isnt nearly enough for this amazing group. They have earned patients and friends for life.

This veterinary clinic is exceptional. There attention to detail and all around compassion for animals and their owners is unique. I would give more stars if allowed. I am an extremely satisfied customer and will suggest this place to all my friends and family.
