The staff treats your pets like their own. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable. The medication and visit are etremely cheap for the amazing service you recieve. The vets take a very long time talking to you and spending time listening to your concerns and worries about your pet. The facility is very nice and clean and even the office staff is polite and respectful. I went one time to get my dog neutered because the cost was very reasonable. I got a vet that I loved and never have I gone back to my previous vet or Banfield (which is close and convienient, but VERY impersonal.) I drive almost an hour from S. Littleton to goto this vet because other vets just do not comare to them. I let all of my friends and family know about my recommendation for this place and urge them to go. I dont know what I would do without them. They are in no way unprofessional, quick, judgemental or rude with you or your animals like other statements have stated. I have had 3 different vets and happily take any vet that is available, because they all treat me and my dogs like family. I just love the atention and time I get at this clinic. It truly is the only place I will take my pets as long as they are around! Natalie

Took my kitty there because he swallowed floss and had to get x-rays The doctor was very unsanitary with the tools she used and wasnt very helpful with the information she gave us. She first told me my cat was fine and then kept changing her answer and saying we should probably send the x-rays to a radiologist. Made me feel like they were just trying to get money. One of the techs took a fecal sample and gave us $10 off which was nice but they later called me and told me I needed to bring in another sample to confirm what they already found in the first sample. So I brought one in the following week and they tried to charge me again for the full charge of $40. They wouldnt take the sample so I left. After going back AGAIN and explaining this to the tech that originally took the sample they were able to only charge me for the remaining $10. They successfully diagnosed my kitty and gave me the meds that were supposed to last for 8 days. Its has now only been 3 days and I am completely out of the medicine. Complete waste of time and money.

I started with their Sunday vaccination clinics and spay/neutering services as they were cheaper than my other vet. When my first lab was 19 yrs old and needed to move on from this world, I went there and the experience put me at ease for a very hard decision. They have a room designated for euthanasia with a couch and a rug on the floor where you can snuggle with your pet as she/he passes on. Youre given as much time as you need to say goodbye. Over the past 14 years, sadly, Ive said goodbye to 3 of my companions there. But they also have access to cremation services and I have beautiful urns and even a paw print plaque. Sherie, Biscuit, and Georgia passed painlessly in my arms in a setting worthy of their loyalty. I now take my pets there for everything. I get email reminders addressed to the specific pet when vaccinations due and they even get Happy Birthday notices!

We went to the Downtown Animal Care Center for a puppy socialization class and asked the front staff where we check in. They told us someone would be out to get us from the training group. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited 45 min. Finally one of the four puppy owners waiting with us asked if the front staff knew if the class was still happening. The front staff finally grabbed the trainer who came out and said the class had started 30 min ago. The front staff (who were not too busy) watched as we sat there and missed the class instead of informing us it was in the room next door. This class occurs every Saturday at the exact same time and space so it baffles me the front desk staff would not be more informed or helpful. Needless to say we will not be taking our puppy here due to poor customer service.

Read the reviews, not crazy in past with the female vet who seems very prim, judgmental and critical, esp if pet belongs to a woman and secondly, is a bit plump despite efforts; Would have been VERY nice to have that critical one tell me years before that "Oh, Iams is not good!" Well, hello, tis a well advertised brand and Petsmart carries it. No good. However, I will still use them for Sunday dog and cat vaccinations as they are good for rabies, distemper, etc. Do not be poor, for breed dogs, esp labs who gain just looking at food, despite moving around, I found Wellness brand at 6th Ave Pet one of the best around. It takes dollars to feed em right on par with human nutrition, organic, veggies, au natural. Takes money folks to do it right, mutts seem to be the least overweight in the parks, notice that?

Terrible service from vet we saw, staff is ok. My dog needed stitches and when I was given an estimate I told the vet we saw "Bonnie L. Kramer" that I couldnt afford that she became very rude. She left and came back offering medication and when asking for another option became even more rude. When coming back with another option she didnt even have the courtesy to be in the room to talk about it, she stood with the door open and obviously does not know about patient privacy. After that she sent someone else to talk to us because being that I couldnt afford what she offered I wasnt worth her time. Never will I return or recommend this place and if I do I will make sure specifically to tell them to ask to not see Bonnie L. Kramer.

My dog Precious and I drove down from Eagle, CO to have TPLO surgery on May 27. Dr. Ed Umlauf was her doctor and he greeted us at the door at 6:30AM. He and his assistant were the only people there. He brought us into a consultation room to discuss the procedure. Typically my dog doesnt really care for the veterinarian office. Not this time! She jumped up on the sofa and put her head on Dr. Umlaufs lap. We left the same day at 2PM. As of this writing she is 10 day post op. She is doing great and on the fast track to healing. I cant say enough good about him. He was quietly confident, very competent and genuinely nice to both of us. He has done more than 2,000 of these surgeries. I would say hes one of the best!

Prices are good on sundays. But the reason why i rate it one star is because o took my 1 yr old dog in for her first vaccines when we got home she went straight to her bed and didnt move from there, she wouldnt eat nor play with her toys then we took her out for a walk and she had diahrea i called them and told them what was goin on and they said it was normal it was just the side effects. The next day she was the same but weaker and her urine came with blood. Called again and o had the same response. The third day she past, way in the morning. I just wich they had more knowledge of what was going on, if you have a dog with these symptoms dont think twice like we did and take your loved one in to a hospital.
