I was fine on the low dose, but they were like "We want to make you happier!" So I said "Well, how happy can a person get?" And on high dose medication I stayed up for days, went in and out of conscious, I called the hospital because the meds made me suicidal. I stopped meds after that point, I was misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed, etc passing me from doctor to doctor, kept on pushing the drugs on me. I kept on saying "No" to which they replied "Ok, see you next appointment!" I hate the Psychiatrists there and Psychiatry in general now. There HAS to be another place for mental health. Doctors dont get me, they dont get PTSD mood swings, they always think its something else, and I HAD TO ASK the things that was wrong with me and a lot sounds incorrect to me. I literally went to go see a new psychologist/therapist there and on my second appointment I couldnt see him anymore because of some stupid reason about my insurance or whatever, so I had to see ANOTHER new guy and the guy literally asked me "What is trauma?" When I told him about my trauma, I swear, theyre using manipulative tactics on the patients! I hate this facility and I hate my state. I hate it all. "Real Life. Real Hope."? More like "Fake Life. No Hope."

Due to the constant turnover in staff, this agency provides extremely poor mental health service. Each therapist, individually, is good. But, I suspect there is something very wrong with the agency and its management due to the staff turnover. We had 4 appointments, 4 different therapists. After going through all of the background 4 times, there never really was any therapy. The last time I called to request a therapist I specifically asked that they be sure the therapist was staying on. After going through the entire background, family tree and outlining the issues, the therapist announced it was her last day---she had handed in her notice that morning. Until this agency can address staff turnover, I would not recommend it. Frankly, we never got any therapy or services other than 4 intakes.

Agency could not care less about clients and providing adequate services. I have tried to remain patient, as I may not have other options in the area. Been through more than one therapist here. None try to help or even call back when you leave messages (and their supervisors do not even return calls). Attendance policies in effect not allowing cancellations to not count against you, even far in advance and/or involving extenuating circumstances. You will be banned from therapy for months if you have 3 cancellations. Lack of respect all around, and not even options for more frequent visits, if needed. The agency seems purely motivated by money, not putting the clients first. This is the epitome of poor mental health care. Avoid at all costs.

Father took children here behind my back in a sick attempt of putting false claims in with DCF, which were proven false, in an attempt to get custody so not to pay child support. Clinic would not respond to numerous calls to stop treatment. DCF filed complaints with clinic as well. Stay away.
