From the very first visit my dog and I were treated like family. I arrived with an older dog that had been given to me for a companion about 6 months after my husband passed. Oliver was as I stated older and came to me with health issues. The Doctors took the time to explain what was wrong what should be done gave the dog all the shot s suggested the priority to tackle the health problems since some would be costly Within about 9 months Oliver was a much livelier dog. The Docs and techs continued to take good care of him for 18 more months and Olivers fight was over The comfort that comes on a day of losing you beloved pet from Litchfield Veterinary hospital pen to paper cannot begin to describe. knowledgeable caring considerate is not enough to say. Now I have another dog had him since 3 months He has no problem going to see the girls and Doctors at Litchfield Veterinary hospital

Im so very grateful for the wonderful care my dearest dog received, all her life, from Drs Cary and Battista, and from all the expert staff at the Litchfield Veterinary Hospital. Everyone was always caring, skillful, gentle, and kind. No matter how small or big the problem, they addressed it with the same devoted attention. My dog, like most dogs, didnt really want to go to the Doctor! but the doctors and assistants knew how to deal with her problems with kindness and knowledge. Ill always be thankful to them, knowing that I provided my dog with the best possible care.

I would not bring my Rottweilers to anyone else. Dr Carey is fantastic. She always has the best advice and answers to my questions. She has been with us from puppy to senior years. Dr Carey was amazing when my older dog had cancer, offering a choice of treatments and sincere compassion. Her staff are warm and friendly. They make you feel like family. Litchfield Veterinary is the best, no question."

We moved to Connecticut thinking we would never be able to replace our old vet of 30 years. We were so wrong! Litchfield veterinary hospital has way surpassed our expectations, and has been great in every way with one old sick dog, and one fairly difficult Newfoundland. I couldnt be happier with them!
