I went here for a pre-employment drug screen. Considering that Quest Diagnostics does these very frequently as routine, you would think that they would have this process down by now. I brought them my paperwork from my employer which had 2 labeled stickers that Quest is supposed to peel off and stick onto your urine sample in order to send to the lab. The woman who took my sample completely butchered both stickers and literally tore them to shreds trying to peel them off. Then, she told me that she wasnt sure if she would be able to send my sample to the Quest lab because it looks like it had been tempered with because SHE destroyed the sample labels. I asked her what that was supposed to mean for me, and she told me I would have to go back to my employer in East Hartford, get a new form, and come back to do the test again. I was astonished by this answer and asked her if there was any protocol that she could simply inform the Quest lab that SHE was the one who destroyed the labels to testify that I was not the one who tampered with the sample. She kept insisting no, no, no, she could do nothing other than send me off to go get a new form and I would have to come back. What a load of crap. These people are clueless. I went back to my employer in East Hartford and had to explain what happened. They were utterly confused.. It was a huge pain in the neck trying to explain what happened there. Needless to say, I did NOT go back to the Quest in Madison. I went to Manchester and told them my whole story about what happened at Quest in Madison. They were laughing and said, obviously, that there was plenty the woman could have done to let the Quest lab know that she was the one who ripped the labels and that I NEVER should have had to go get a new form and take the test again! They gave me a number to call and complain, but of course its just some automated thing where you are supposed to press 1 or 2 or 3 or whatever for the type of complaint you are trying to make... What crap, Quest!! Awful. So here I am writing my first Google review ever, warning people to stay the heck away from the Quest Diagnostics in Madison... These people HAVE NO CLUE how to do their jobs!! Not only that, but they made my children sit on some disgusting dirty floor when I went into the bathroom to go take my test. It was filthy in there. Awful. NEVER GO THERE! Even if you live in Madison, drive somewhere else and avoid wasting your time!!

Never going back to this location. The staff at the blood draw station at YNHH-SMC are so much better. I could not believe how unresponsive the front desk staff was at this Quest location. Barely an acknowledgement of my existence. As I was waiting to be checked in, another patient left and said goodbye and thank you. The person at the front desk did not acknowledge them or even look up from the desk. I thought, well, at least this front desk person will not be the one drawing my blood. Unfortunately several minutes later she called my name and brought me back to a room to get my blood drawn. Other than telling me to sit down and asking which arm, she did not communicate with me at all. I even asked her how her day was going and received silence!! This is my main problem with this location. This person should not be working in the healthcare field with patients. I must also mention that a couple of hours after getting my blood drawn, I also developed a lot of bruising around the site. Have not gotten my results back yet...hopefully nothing else was screwed up.

Avoid this site at all costs. The front desk had a woman sitting in the back portion of the office. The woman never acknowledged me. The unprofessional and totally rude attitude of the help is astonishing. It is obvious they hate their job or feel undercompensated. People dealing with health issues could use a little compassion. Quest in Madison needs to clean house. I would never go back.

Had to GO BACK b/c woman at the front desk couldnt accurately read what tests were to be done on me. There are plenty of Quest offices in Shoreline area. Avoid this one.
