Questionable Care and Extremely Expensive. I found out when I had to euthanize my dog, Bailey due to cancer that the vet was unaware that she had been operated on for cancer 7 years ago at their office. I thought that while they were treating her over the years that her entire medical history was being considered. It was not. I wonder if the recent cancer could have been prevented or caught at an earlier stage. Also in the middle of the visit for the euthanasia I was informed that the cost would be $525.00. Most vets in this area charge $230.00 for the same service. At that point my family was so distraught I could not stop the procedure. I feel like I was taken advantage of at the same time I was losing my pet.

Drs. Lazarus and Meenan are the best vets. They provide excellent care and always take time to explain everything to the owners. They do excellent surgery on site and, on top of everything, donate a great deal of their time to helping the efforts of the Stamford Animal Care and Control. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and, despite having hundreds of patients, they always remember everyone who walks into their office. I have two dogs (now ages 14 and 11) and have taken both of them there since puppyhood and they have kept them in excellent health. I would recommend them to anyone.

BEST BEST PLACE IN CONNECTICUT. THE GIRLS AND GUYS WHO WORK THERE ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE DOCTORS, AND BOY ARE THEY GREAT, CARING, UNDERSTANDING AND REALLY LISTEN AND GET YOU IN TO SEE THE DOCTOR FOR URGENT VISITS. THEY ARE NUMBER ONE IN MY BOOK

well, my cat was sick, medicin they gave her didnt help, so when I called to ask what else could be done, they said they are not sure... that was IT. They didnt offer to do any tests or anything.
