I had asymptomatic acid reflux disease for years. Most of the enamel on the back of my teeth eroded. I had 2 dentists during the years the damage occurred, but neither one ever mentioned it. The latter tried to talk me into spending $4,000 on veneers for the front of my teeth, but he never explained to me why my teeth were chipping to begin with. Once I was diagnosed and went onto a med, I tried a 3rd dentist who said I needed to build up the backs of all my teeth with composite, which would cost $$$. Finally, I went to Dr. Khan because I was on a new dental plan. I resided myself to the bad news he would give me (I assumed he was like all the others). Instead, Dr. Khan assured me my teeth are healthy, despite the loss of enamel. He advised me to switch to an electric toothbrush, use an enamel-strengthening toothpaste and rinse with ACT Restore. He said there is no reason to destroy healthy teeth with caps. I am getting veneers on my top, front teeth because they are chipped, but Dr. Khan charges far less than that other dentist I had. I trust Dr. Khan to do a fine job, too. He also said I will have to sleep with a soft night guard after I get the veneers because I grind at night, about which none of the other dentists bothered to inform me. His fee for the guard is far lower than other dentists, based on what people I know told me they paid. What a breath of fresh air to have such an honest, ethical doctor! He is polite and amiable and all his staff is pleasant, capable and professional. I recommend him highly.

Was impressed with their holistic knowledge of health & the body, while also catching things my other dentists have not. Dont play around with your health by going to any clown - from my single visit and just the way they were able to treat me and their body of practical knowledge on the mouth and health, this is the best dentist Ive been to, so far.

Dr. Khan is an excellent dentist! The receptionists are always kind and very professional. Overall an excellent experience. I have sent a number of family members to CT East Dental!
