I am religious about my dental care, and I never liked going to the dentist, in fact I hated it. I always felt like no matter how much I brushed or flossed, they (previous dentists) were always recommending some sort of corrective operation (filling a cavity, etc). I would lightly protest and ask why, but never really pushed back; I would accept it and grumble under my breath. And to add insult to injury, Id have to wait what seemed like an eternity past my appointment time every time, adding insult to inevitable injury. Then one day they recommended a root canal, I protested, but accepted. Then I went to the surgery appointment, and after the pre-op inspection, the surgeon said "you dont need a root canal, I dont know why they told you did, your teeth are fine. Sorry they had you come to this appointment, but I cant and wont operate on you." I knew it. And that was the moment I decided I had had enough, I wasnt going to be unhappy at the dentist anymore. I told the previous dentist where they could go (in my mind at least), and looked for a new one. I honestly dont remember how I found Aspen Dental, but I am so glad I did. I have been 3 times in the last 18 months, and each visit has been excellent. The West Lebanon, NH Aspen Dental is among (if not the) most professional and courteous service organizations I have ever dealt with. I have never had to wait a minute past my appointment time. The service is always prompt and polite. And instead of chastising me by recommending corrective operations, they compliment me on my dental care, saying I must be doing something right (even though Ive been doing the same thing for the last 12 years, no other dentist has ever said that). Am I biased because they make me feel accomplished about my religious dental care? Probably. But I can objectively say that they are an extremely professional organization. And whats more, I trust them. Theres no other dentist I can say that about. So thank you Aspen Dental. While I cant say going to the dentist is my favorite thing in the world, you have made it as enjoyable is it could possibly be for me. It is no longer a tortuous exercise in frustration and mistrust. Whatever youre doing, keep it up; youve got a fan in me.

2 stars is being generous. Lets start with the pros and work our way down: The receptionists are truly kind, lovely people. Happy to explain things, work out payment stuff, etc. I had positive experiences with the dental hygienists as well. If all you ever need is a regular cleaning, Aspen is great. Easy scheduling, little wait time, clean teeth. However, if you need anything more extensive than cleanings, I urge you to find another dentist. I went in with excruciating tooth pain fall 2014. They said I just needed a crown, got me all fixed up and sent me on my way. Fast forward to winter 2015/2016 - Id had dull 24/7 pain in that tooth the entire time, which Aspen said was normal ...until my next cleaning when they tell me I have an abscess and need a root canal - then immediately usher me out without explaining anything else. I ended up going to Montshire Endodontics (cant recommend them enough!). They fixed me up, but were HORRIFIED that I had been living in pain for so long. They said that from the initial 2014 pain it should have been clear that a root canal was needed. Worse still was my wisdom tooth experience at Aspen from Oct 2015: The surgeon was Dr. Nazeeh Abunasra. They informed me literally as I was being put under that they were only going to take one tooth out instead of all four as planned. This was for legitimate medical concerns, but they left me unable to consent to the change. I woke up distraught and overheard one of the surgeons assistants complain that I was "whining." Nearly a year later, I still experience everyday pain from the sizeable hole left from the wisdom tooth extraction. I now thankfully have a new dental office, Mascoma Dental, that I am very happy with and would recommend to all.

Can it get any easier? Needed fast service for broken tooth before vacation, was able to get right in within one day. Website was super easy to navigate, book an appointment, print out and fill out required paperwork before initial visit. As someone who is deathly afraid of the dentist office from past horrible experiences, i felt at ease. Amanda was warm and inviting, very friendly and helpful. Dr Ray did a wonderful job with the extraction, and helped me with future appointments. He was 100 times nicer and more gentle than my previous dentist. Feel very comfortable having him work on me. The office manager Rebbeca went above and beyond getting me set up for future visits, setting up payment options, and was friendly and professional. All other employees that I witnessed were in very good moods and seemed to enjoy their jobs! As truly stressed out I was, I couldnt have asked for a better experience under the circumstances.

My experience at the Lebanon office of Aspen Dental has always been positive. Dail does a great job. She is friendly, professional, and works quickly. I am always a little skittish when having my teeth cleaned, but I have been able to relax with Dail. She always listens if I need a break and just couldnt be better overall. My only problem with Aspen Dental is the condition of the office. The walls in the x-ray area (which is very small) are always dented and have marks of some kind on them. It gives the impression of an unclean area. I would love to see Aspen expand the x-ray area to prevent the damage to the walls. Although I noticed that the walls in the chair area where Dail works had had a new coat of paint since I was there in December, they too have marks and dents and appear unclean. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental in Lebanon to anyone for their friendliness and professionalism.

I almost gave up on finding a dentist and staff that truly cared, listened and was respectful of a patient that truly had anxiety over having a dentist looking and working on my teeth. My past experiences have been horrible and I always put off having my teeth work on, which caused my teeth to get worse. I will never ever have to worry about that again!!!! This is the best place to come, it was the first time I walked out with a smile on my face and couldnt wait to tell my family about my experience. And now I want the general public to know! I cant say enough good things about this place...I cant wait until my next visit and I have never ever said that before and I am 60 years young! Thank you Aspen Dental (in only the Lebanon location) I say that because I tried another location and it was horrible.

My experience as a new patient at Aspen Dental was positive overall. I was taken a little off guard by the brevity of my new patient exam. In scheduling my new patient appointment, I was very clear that I wanted to establish an in-network dentist and initiate a regular sixth-month cleaning routine. However, I didnt realize that a "new patient exam" involved only x-rays and a cursory, 30-second visual inspection of my mouth. I thought that I was going to have a cleaning! This is not a show-stopper, as I have already scheduled my first actual cleaning for next week. Still, it would have been valuable to know what exactly the "new patient exam" entailed, because I would have saved myself a second trip to the dentist by scheduling my cleaning immediately after my new patient exam.
