This office is a disaster. The "office manager" Julie is unpleasant, abrasive, rude, and just plain unprofessional, and should not be working in the front of an office anywhere. Almost every time I went in for an appointment, I either heard her reprimanding a patient on the phone or saw her disrespecting a patient right in front of me, for all patients in the waiting room to see. To get to the doctor, I saw him for almost a year, a year too long. His fees are ludicrous, he is a lunch-line psychiatrist, and obviously in it for the money. He talked down to me and assulted my self-esteem time and again, pretty much the opposite of what you would expect from a behavioral health doctor. He was not concerned with talking to me, all he did was prescribe me absurd amounts of controlled substances, which at the time I went along with because I trusted that as a doctor, he knew what he was doing. Before going to him, I was on one medication. When I left one year later, and on seven different prescription medications he had prescribed, 3 of them controlled substances, it was too late; I had become dependent on them, and had to be tapered off all the medications by an actual professional, which took almost six months. It frightens me that he sees children, because they are the most vulnerable patients of all, and his hasty prescribing practices and questionable psychiatric "treatment" puts all of his patients at risk, most importantly children and other emotionally and mentally vulnerable people, (which are most all the people who come to see him, he IS a behavioral health doctor) In my opinion his license to practice and prescribe should have been taken long ago, before he puts more patients at risk and damages them emotionally, or makes them dependent on all kinds of medications. Im surprised the state and the FDA hasnt stepped in yet.

Although arrogant at first, Mr. Krulee seemed genuinely concerned for my daughter and she liked him. I ignored my gut and erred on the side of my daughter. In hindsight I should have trusted my gut. We made the first few appointments without incident, spending more time travelling to and from his office then he did "treating" her. My daughter recently had a bad health month. She was injured during a high school volleyball game which required a hospital visit and necessitating a rescheduled appointment. Then a week later, she contracted mono and was out of school for three weeks and the day of her scheduled appointment was hospitalized for three days again requiring a new appointment. Treating teenagers as he does , one would expect this. I was surprised when his office called me back only to tell me that he had chosen to discontinue caring for my daughter because she was not following his treatment and had not been to the office in three months. Facts which were disputed and proven incorrect because my records were more accurate than their own. When I asked to speak to the Dr., he had his daughter/office mgr. call me. When I pointed out that their facts were wrong and that she was hospitalized, they showed no concern. When I asked her to reconsider , her response was that she did not speak for the Dr. My response was then why did he not call me as I had asked? I dont normally give much credence to online reviews. I trusted the recommendations of professionals who I respect. I should have given more deference to the review as as they were spot on. He apparently cares more for his ego and his wallet than his patients. I recommend you look harder, drive further and avoid this shill masquerading as a caring professional.

I had an awful experience with Landmark Behavioral Health. It wasnt with Dr. Krulee himself, but with the office Secretary Julia. I had been bringing in my 15 year old son who is on the Autism spectrum to see Dr. Krulee for about six months. One day when I was waiting while my son was in an appointment, I had to deal with an insurance issue with Julia at the front desk. After a very rude exchange from Julia, I asked to speak with the Dr. because I felt that their was something not right with the billing and Julia just kept saying the same thing, very rudely. To make a long story short, she ended up yelling close to my face, and called my son a "retard". Luckily there was noone else in the office to hear this atrocius situation. Obviously this was the last appointment we went to, and I called the office 3 times to try to speak with the Dr. about Julias abusive incredibly disgusting and assultive behavior, and each time Julia answered the phone, and hung up on my every single time when I asked to speak with the Dr. The only thing I am grateful for is that my son did not hear her, because he already faces enough challenges and does not need to hear himself called a retard by a grown woman. You would hope that someone who chooses to work at the front desk of a bahvioral health practice would be more sensitive. Over the many times that I brought my son in when I was waiting in the waiting room, I would talk to another parent, and several times one of these parents would end up telling me about a rude treatment they had gotten from Julia, and I never believed it cause my exchanges with her had been polite for the most part. I cant believe this lady is still employed, and that the Dr. keeps letting her verbally assult patients

I would recommend Dr. David Krulee to anyone if it were not for his office manager, Julia and since they are married my decision is easy. My teenage daughter has been a patient for more than 6 months, and he is a great doctor. I recently left several messages trying to speak with him. When I called the third time, Julia answered and would not listen - she just lectured me on federal drug regulations, complained about how she was too busy to deal with my problem, and complained (for the second time) about the doctor that had referred us. After i tried to explain why i was calling again, she told me that if i was not happy, i should just find another doctor. Then i was told that they were going to close my daughters file, and not to bother coming back, and hung up on me. (I took great offense to this, as I took it to mean that my 15 yr old daughter would be left without her meds till I could find another doctor. Thankfully Dr. Krulee gave us 3 month supply to hold us over). I will never again go to a practice where anyone is related/married to office staff because Dr. Krulee doesnt want to get in the middle. He stands by his staff, which is admirable unless his staff is rude, argumentative, and angry. Julia has caused him to lose several patients and now another. I should have taken all the reviews on google to heart. And Dr. Krulee should be a little more concerned with his wifes inability to listen and empathize - a key factor when dealing with the public. I will miss him and his front office staff, but the way she treated me was inappropriate and unforgivable.

I have been with Dr. Krulee over 15 years and finally i have had enough. Personally he provides great help and i love having him as my doctor. However his staff, specifically Julia is HORRIBLE. After all these years i had to stop going due to her attitude and lack of respect. She has talked down to me countless times. She refuses to speak to the pharmacy, has swore at me, insulted me, and hung up on me countless times over the course of my treatment there. And to be clear, generally our conversations start with her in this hostile mood. Unfortunately, Dr Krulee has recently married her so he wont listen to any complaints that patients have regarding Julias behavior. On more than one occasion he has said to me, "why are you involving me in this" when i complain to him about her. I warn you not to go to this office. I am disappointed that i have to stop seeing this Dr, but his staff has no place working in any customer service related field. CVS employees have even called me after dealing with her and are dumb founded and admit they have never met anyone so unprofessional. This and all the other negative reviews are not flukes. They are accurate.
