So sad that I have to give this review. Ive been seeing Dr. Robertson for 15 years. Many years before they opened the new, improved, South Wilton Vetetinary Clinic. They have helped me heal my pets and put them to sleep in a caring, gentle way. Those days are over. Ive waited over an hour for Dr. Robertson to see my dog and when I asked what the delay was they said that Dr. R is busy ( Ive been hearing her talking in the back room) I should see their intern if I dont want to wait longer. I knew more than their intern did, total waste of time and money. My dogs attacked another dog and we had to put them to sleep, Dr. Rosen wanted us to rehome them, just pass the problem along and wouldnt help us. Dr. Robertson never reached out to us in any way and it hurt us after her being our vet for so many yeas. I didnt want special treatment I just wanted my vet to help us, she didnt call, she didnt care. We were devasted about what we had to do and they never reached out to us. Dr. Robertson you were on the floor with me many years ago when I had to put my dog Otto to sleep because he lost the use of his legs. You were there when my baby Gretchen was diagnosed with cancer. Ive been ignoring many things over the last few years but now Im done, you broke my heart when we needed you most.

Had there been an option to deliver a score lower than one star, i would have swiftly chose that option. These people are inexperienced in exotic pet care to say the least. My blue tongue skink had a bandage wrapped around his leg after it was found that he broke it somehow. After a week or two, i noticed his eyes were swollen and his head seemed noticeably larger. It was only then that i realized he had been obstructed by the bandage hed been so harshly wrapped in. So my malnourished, weak and upset skink had his bandage removed. After the horrible process of freeing his neck from that noose-like wrap, my girlfriend and i looked, in horror, at the indentation the bandage had made. He immediately began acting normal and flicking his tongue about. Hes resting now and is lucky that it was taken off when it was. But i warn any who choose to take their exotic animal here (or any animal, in my opinion.) to bring your buddy elsewhere. Im only glad that my skink is alive and seemingly better. And that i dont know which car was my veterinarians, for the sake of their tires.

Clean and professional environment. My low rating is spurring from a couple things: relentless upselling, unnecessary testing and follow-ups. We are constantly being borderline berated throughout our experience when we visit... Example #1: Teeth cleaning for an old dog. Why? And when we say no thank you, why keep bringing it up? Every time we visit? Example #2: They also regularly recommend extensive testing when something is wrong. Theres no real interpretive thought based on the individual dog, just going down the book of "things to do". Example #3: Theres always a follow-up apt recommended. Ive never experienced that in my life for minor pet issues. As a result of above, it just feels like a constant "money grab. Maybe we just had a subpar vet? Not sure, but not willing to return anymore.

I WISH THERE WAS A CHOICE FOR ZERO STARS DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO THIS SO - CALLED PRACTICE THEY WILL NEGLECT IT AND LET IT DIE THEY HAVE NO BEDSIDE MANNER WONT EVEN OFFER YOU A TISSUE AND ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY THEY KILL ANIMALS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE OR ANYBODY BUT THEMSELVES THEY OVER CHARGE AND THEY ARE COLD AS ICE THE DOCTORS ARE HORRIBLE AND THE CARE IS CRIMINAL IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS STAY FAR AWAY !

Very expensive and very rude staff, but if you can get past that there is one doctor there worth seeing, Dr. Robertson...After spending thousands of dollars there over the years we have decided to dump this group and will recommend the same to all of our friends in Wilton. Overall experience can be summed up as a rip off and the last poster is correct in that they have no compassion, none of them

I called half an hour prior to closing on a Sunday, when my dog needed care following spay surgery at another facility. SWVG told me to come right in. The staff was great: upbeat and kind. The Vet was excellent: knowledgeable, calm, compassionate. I plan on making this my regular vet.

This vet group is the best around, they are caring for both pet and owner. The price you pay is well worth the care , knowledge they have. I will use them for all my pet needs. Happy. Client. And pet. Thank u all for excellent care and service.

They were incredibly thoughtful and caring with our pet frog when we brought him in for an emergency situation. We really appreciate the time and attention given, and the acknowledgement of his importance to our family.

They are probably a good vet but expensive. Even my vet said they were expensive. I had to take my rabbit there because my vet doesnt do rabbits as a vet tech is allergic.
