Dr. Jackson and her staff are just the kind of people u want handling your dog! My dog is NOT just my dog, hes also my boy, my partner, ect. Dr. Jackson and staff are very nice to both me and my dog, very patient with him, very welcoming, and their prices are very good! :) I would normally buy my dogs heartworm meds and flea and tick on line due to vet offices being very expensive, however the price for my dogs heartworm meds are the SAME as on line! My dog has only been there twice due to recently changing vets and after only my dogs FIRST visit, I recommended Sassafrass to several of my co-workers!!! Its also a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I love the fact that they have no prob with my going into the room with them and my dog! My dog has had nothing but good experience.s at Sassafrass! :)❤.........the only thing that I could possibly see being some what of an issue is that its a smaller place so the waiting room can fill up fast and if u have an animal who doesnt get along with other animals, it may be a prob, HOWEVER, they are wonderful enough to let u wait outside or in Ur car and they will come let u know when its ur turn and make sure all animals are safe! :)

We had a lovable beagle-coonhound mix that wasnt learning house training. We were using a crate, increasing our walks, providing positive reinforcement, etc., etc. and the dog was still having constant accidents after two years. We went to a chain pet store and asked the trainer who was providing puppy classes. She said we must not be doing what we said, or it would be working. It was an awful moment. We began thinking about finding a new home for our hound. Dr. Jackson was so understanding. She shared a story about her own dog, which was so helpful. Her words helped us get through the frustration until the situation resolved. We shared 13 crazy, funny, healthy years with that dog. Thanks, Dr. Jackson.

Dr. Jackson always treats our dog with love and respect (even when our dog is nervous and growly). Several times she has fit us in, for a last minute sick appointment. She doesnt force you to get expensive tests or vaccinations that may not be in your budget at the moment. However, her prices are affordable compared to other vets in the area. Her office staff is also helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend Dr. Jackson for routine vet care!

Ive known Dr Jackson for probably 30 years, since she worked with Dr Beste in Middletown. She is absolutely amazing with each and every animal. She has cared for so many of our pets over the years. Her staff is friendly and helpful, and we wont go anywhere else, and hope she never retires!!
