WATCH OUT FOR THIS ENTIRE COMPANY! I was having issues with the Greenburg Dental in Riverview and I was unable to get an emergency appointment for pain that I was having. I decided to go into the Brandon office for help. They saw me immediately and I thought Dr. Patel was great. I needed a root canal and she wrote me a referral to Advanced Endodontics (fantastic place btw). My insurance company then notifies me that none of the dental work that I had done with either office will be covered and Im now over $5,000 in debt to the dental offices. The insurance company told me it was because I was never listed on their roster. This was a over site on the part of my insurance company because they showed that I had called to assign myself, but for some reason it was never processed. My insurance company worked with me to correct the issue. They told me that this could have been avoided had the office followed procedures by contacting my insurance company before they ever saw me to make sure that I was on their roster. By law they should have never treated me. Because Dr. Patel wrote me a referral, that was now considered a legal statement that their office was accepting me as a patient. The insurance company corrected my debt. However... The treatment plan that Dr. Patel worked out for me had over $2,200 in charges. Treatment codes that matched the same codes on my previous treatment plan with the Riverview office. The prices were widely different however. The co-payment charges for my fillings at the Brandon office were nearly 3 times the price of what they were at the Riverview office. This didnt make since to me since I new that my insurance had not changed and this was the same company. I contacted my insurance company to verify the correct amounts and they were charging my co-payments 2 and 3 times the amount they should have. There were also several $150 charges for cosmetic upgrades. Which I didnt understand. I tried to contact the Brandon office to find out what the problem was. The girl in the office I spoke with apologized for the issue and said she would make a phone to my insurance company to get the correct pricing and then call me back. A week went by and I received no call. I called them again and again they apologized and told me the same story, only this time they said they would escalate the issue to their office manager. I received no calls back. I tried several times to call and got their answering service. I left messages but received no calls back. This continued for 1 month. Yesterday when I called I got a new girl from the office on the phone and she fed me the same apology. She put me on hold to speak with the office manager, when she came back she reported that the manager had no idea of what was going on with my case. She said they would correct it and call me back. Still no word. I called back again today and the same receptionist put me on hold for 45 minutes and then hung up on me. I tried calling back but by that time I got the answering service again and I was told that their office was now closed! I left a message demanding for the office manager to call me back, but I already know she wont. Since I am in need of 2 crowns to be done that are now a month over due, Im going to switch to a new dentist. Im also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. All of their actions up to this point are being perceived and theft. They wont take my calls or correct the situation so Im left to believe that they were intentionally trying to steal money from me and they dont want to talk to me because they know I caught them. If I were you Id find another company to go to!

This is the worst place ever they really have no idea what they are doing ! They basically are highway crooks ! Went in there several times about one tooth and each time they charged me without ever resolving my issue which was trying to remove a tooth that needed a root canal which we all know is not a cheap process ! They told me I needed a oral surgeon to remove the tooth and my jaw was swollen! They then decide to tell me that my insurance doesnt cover the oral surgeon so I would have to pay $212 for an extraction! And the appointment wasnt anytime soon told me it was life threatening but tell me the appointment was two weeks later ! Like you scaring me about "life threatening" but dont give me a good appointment! So I ended up going elsewhere finally ! Come to find out when they actually done a x ray that my tooth wasnt infected and the regular general dentist took the tooth out ! Unbelievable this place GOOD LUCK if you ever decide to go here they just have no feeling and are cruel honestly and dont have any idea what they are doing they just want to basically take your money and not even try to do things right and solve your issue ! I put one star only cuz they dont have a zero option

I wish there was a separate way to rate the dentists and dental assistants, as the actual dentist (Dr. Millstien) and her assistants are very good at their job. Unfortunately when it comes to billing practices, they fall well short. After two failed attempts to complete my root canal this year, I was told explicitly (after asking several times) that I would not be charged for what amounted to an incomplete procedure. I actually had to be referred to an outside office. I have now been billed twice for the same procedure, and am now jumping through the hoops again to have the bill removed a second time. None of the offices seem to be able to interconnect. Ive been transferred or told to call a total of four (4) different locations to try to resolve this. Their "billing department" is the most unhelpful, refusing to go beyond what seems to be a script that boils down to "Well, you saw the dentist, whether the procedure was done or completed or not you have to pay for our time". There is zero communication between locations, let alone their location and their billing department.

My appointment was at 1:45 pm I waited an hr, plus before taken to room for my surgery. I was in a room (where I got frostbite) for 2 hrs. Before .I was told by the surgeon he had a couple of things to attend to before he could get to me. It was after 4:00 pm before I saw him again. My son brought me and was told he had to stay in the building until I was ready to leave. The bill was Paid at check in. I pd. for (3) increments of sedation ,and the surgery charge. The whole procedure (after sedated) was over in about 30 mins, handed 2 scrips to get filled.,and no post care instructions. such as a rinse etc.He did say the stitches would go away, and bye, bye. I have a place that he should have checked, and I have notified his office, was told to leave message, I did and after 10 days now I have not heard from him. Very uncaring people, no personal concern for patients wellbeing. If I have to get a follow-up it will be at the surgeons expense. Never would I recommend the surgeon I had.
